Having received a degree from New College of California in Culture, Ecology and Sustainable Community, Toni has extensive knowledge about sustainability, local agriculture, and community-building, all of which have inspired the creation of Three Potato Four. You can get a loaf of fresh baked bread AND FLOWERS, to boot! They also have a kids menu that is fun and healthy! Toni used to be a nanny, so she knows what kids like! I wanted sconces that would hold taper candles, not the electric sort that leave you having to hide the trailing cord. So I decide to run to Sweet Magnolia to replace a candle that had recently burnt out completely when, lo and behold!, there is the most gorgeous pair of gold-leafed wall sconces hanging right before my eyes! This is why I love Sweet Magnolia - you can find such elegant pieces here when you least expect it. I also appreciate that their prices don't put a huge dent in your wallet. $58 for the pair? I'll take them! The store also carries the greatest soy candles ever by Aquiesse which last a rather long time and come in several delightful fragrances. They also carry an array of other home goods - Forte teas, place settings, bath and body products, stationery, baby gifts, and jewelry. Definitely a great little shop for finding last minute gifts or a treat for yourself. I've seen similar items at other stores like Anthropologie for twice the price, so why not patronize a local entrepreneur instead?

It's a very interesting store with incredibly low prices for items in new or like new condition. I found sleep masks for 1.99- in the past I've paid much much more for the kind I like. I also scored some new Avon Deoderant that I use exclusively. Avon prices are too high so I've resorted to buying this product elsewhere. There is an eclectic mix of Antiques too. I enjoyed seeing this store and the owner is very friendly. If I were closer I would frequent this store. The inventory is constantly changing so it's an almost guarantee you'll feast your eyes on new treasures anytime you go. I'm looking forward to going back someday when I'm in the area.
