Really annoyed by the commentators (shriver, puig, duvall) occupying 1/3 of my screen to talk about all kinds of things. I just started my subscription to the Tennis Channel and I'm not enjoying this at all. I want to feel/hear the game, the racket hitting the ball, the ball bouncing off the surface, the player yelling to celebrate a hard-fought point or in frustration over a mistake just made, and the applause from the fans in appreciation of a play. The percentage of commercials and commentary is so high that I find the station irresponsibly not living up to the promoting of the sport. I cancelled my subscription twice immediately after joining. The Tennis Channel is weird. Scheduling is always out of date. "Live" does not mean " live" it often means already played OR hasn't aired. There are dozens of channels. channels 3-12 rarely have matches airing. if you switch between 1, 2 and if other channels has matches, it's same matches. if you are watching Women's matches, they keep on adding men's matches. The worse part is: while match is going on; on Tennis channel 2, they got Tracy Austin and other commentators talking whole day long. shut them off.. I simply want to watch the match. Don't switch to Iga's match when I'm watching Raducanu's match. it's very poor to show commentators talking whole day long. read more

Start by focusing on one match at a time. You frequently turn my 60" tv into 4 25" pictures. Can't see any of them! Next, you don't have to replay each point, sometimes causing us to miss the next one. The constant regurgitation of senseless information just to fill air time keeps the viewer from fully experiencing the emotions on the court. Why do they film a player walking away after a point then cut away when they turn around? Its ridiculous! Garbage. I am on a paid plan. Limited coverage, sometimes they don't even upload match recordings, even the Paris Masters tournament that I'm currently watching. Either I watch in the middle of the night or I don't watch it all. What am I paying for here? Every time I open the app on my Apple TV I have to go through a damn login process on my phone. Impossible to get a refund. I signed up for one year, it automatically renewed me for a second year, I cancelled subscription that same day but was still charged $ 120 . Audio/video sync is consistently awful. Camera operators are amateurish. Video resolution is inconsistent. Commentary is insipid.

IS IT THE CAMERA OR THE CAMERA MAN? Monte Carlo It's easy to tune in to T1 and usually quite enjoyable. So thank you for sharing all the great matches this season. Although, since the Monte Carlo tournament has started we have noticed in the camera coverage of the matches we can't see where the ball is or where it is going. Not sure if it's because the camera angle is very low, the camera they use is unable to adjust to the depth/closeness, or due to the lighting or other obstacles? But on almost every point we can't tell where exactly the ball has landed on a very large new tv, and only know by the commentary or waiting for the score to find out who won the point. read more

I receive the Tennis Channel in my Comcast package. My first impression was that I liked having a channel for viewing my favorite sport. It's unfortunate that football, basketball, baesball and even golf at the professional level have more outlets and more coverage than highest level tennis. Perhaps it's because there is no definitive American player at the top of the rankings now either in men's or women's tennis. No Conners, McEnroe, Sampras, Agassi, or Serena Williams. That being said, I have only a 42" screen and when the channel devotes a match to the full screen it's fine. Too often, however, the TC cuts away from one match and puts split screen for 2 matches on which definitely makes it hard to view either because of the size. Other times, especially during a rebroadcast of a match, 5 minutes are spent showing results of other matches, using a large portion on the right side of the screen and a portion of the bottom of the screen has other info which is incidental. Again, the size of the match on the screen is greatly compromised. They repeat these results at least 3 times B4 returning to the full size screen. If the TC really needs to post other results, could they not do so like football, baseball, etc and put them on a narrow line at the bottom? One last thing is the commentators during many matches. If these matches on the TC are broadcast basically for Americans. Why are so many either speaking with a British or Australian accent? It would much easier on the audio if the viewer/listener was treated to American/English broadcasters most of the time. read more

Tuning in to T2 is a frustrating experience. First, they televise an exciting match like Swiatek vs. Rybakina and then after 2 or 3 sets, they split the screen for a warm up of another match - or a COIN TOSS!!! Often, they forego televising the match you are now invested in for this new match. Seldom as a viewer are you ever able to complete a match you start viewing. They also have an incredibly irritating show during which three commentators babble about anything - and I mean anything - unrelated to the ongoing match. And to make matters worse, they split the screen so that you can barely see the match but you can clearly see the three commentators texting, drinking water and shuffling papers. The programming decision making on this channel is baffling. It's a shame because underneath it all they actually have the rights to broadcast lots of great tennis. read more

I just switched to YouTube TV and I noticed right of way that the Tennis Channel is not a selection but that T2 is. I was watching Indian Wells matches and Second Serve came on. So instead of watching a match now they are showing a Lauren Embree talking about eating yogurt. Even before this waste of time just having these three guys in the upper left hand corner is annoying and disturbing. Just show the marches. I like watching the tennis channel, however, some of the commentators remarks are not professional. For instance, I'm watching Gael Monfils vs Martinez on 6 Jan 2025. One of the commentators (2 men). One commentator made the comment that Monfils playing like a plane with ten wheelchairs passengers getting on a plane but only two getting off. That comment was totally unacceptable. There are various reasons why only two WC passengers get off. It's naive of him to think a person only use a wheelchair because they are completely immobile It is not for him to speculate. Awful coverage of Wimbledon. More talking than showing the matches. ESPN has much better coverage than the tennis channel. Too much repetition. A lot of the coverage isn't even from England. Lindsey Davenport is sitting at a desk in the USA pretending to be in London. They report all the winners before the matches begin on tv. read more

I'm not even sure it's worth 1 star. I have a subscription to TC+, on my account it says "Active". Yet today I lost access to the content. Why???? Well, we don't know because does anyone pick up the phone over there? No way. You create a ticket and do you hear back? No way. WHY can't we just split everything between Tennis TV (which is basically flawless) and ESPN+? Oh, and TC+ is $110/year. No option for a monthly subscription. Do you know why? Because they literally only have rights to one meaningful tournament per year (that Tennis TV/ ESPN + do not) and that's RG. So they hook you up for a year just for these two weeks. Meanwhile the other two service providers are monthly. Terrible service, terrible business model. Just terrible P.s. to add fuel to the fire, they got "exclusive rights" to the Davis Cup finals this last go round. Don't even get me started on how many matches they DIDN'T show. Tennis channel (and Tennis Channel 2) have become more concerned about money than about bringing matches to fans. And they favor men's matches over women's matches. A real disappointment. They recommend their streaming app Tennis Channel Plus, but it recently changed and the format is terrible. And is just added money for the viewer. read more

The new scores in green T the bottom left of the screen during a match with a transparent background are impossible to read when watching matches. i paid for a subscription. However, it kept telling me to pay again even though I paid for a year's subscription. I spent literally days following support team's instructions to fix the problem and none of them worked. None of them. They still refused to refund me when I paid for a service that tells me to pay again when I try to use the service. They agree that I have paid for it already. All they did was continue to issue the same instructions and tell me to follow them. I did this many times. So i have paid for a year's subscription with no access to the matches and no refund. Garbage. Waste of time and over one hundred dollars. I also wrote telling them I did not want to autorenew my membership next year. I can't cancel this as I can't sign on . Silence their end.
