There was very poor communication and no attention to detail. Several factors were not addressed nor did I know they were issues until my current lawyer brought them up. My ex was trying to hide a second retirement account which was not noticed, ROP was not addressed, and my ex was also trying to claim that his 40k in savings was not marital, which I later found out was. I spent thousands of dollars and countless hours with this company but had to get a new attorney who was able and willing to advocate for me.

My ex is a drug addict and I told that to Robert and I told him all about his habit and he told me that just because he does drugs and has meth in his system doesn't make him a drug addict. I only had him go to court with me one time and then I fired him because he wouldn't stick up for me in court and allowed my exes lawyer to get everything he asked for immediately!!! PLEASE DO NOT..!!!!!!! hire James Schneider, if you Love your child and TRULY want what is best for their well-being. In 1991 I left a VERY physically and verbally abusive 14 year relationship, with nothing but an old car, no money and had to sign the house over to my son's father to be ALLOWED to leave. My son's father said and did some horrible things. My son's father hired Schneider, part of James Schneider's strategy was to draw up a letter.. stating that my son would run away if I received custody and MADE my son , who was then 12 years old, sign it with his father's consent. My son cried and cried and cried over that letter ... saying "Mom those weren't my words" ..I said. " I Know ".I also had a restraining order against my son's father that Schneider somehow managed to add a condition whereas I was not ALLOWED to call my son before 9:00 a.m. I did, the first day of school, to tell my son..I Loved Him and to wish him Good Luck. I was immediately contacted by the Blaine police and reprimanded for making that phone call and told that I could be arrested ..as a Mother.. this was unbelievable.I would like to think that Jim Schneider would HELP.. not HARM children and do what is best for them not what is best for his wallet by lying and intimidating children. The court awarded my son's father custody and also assigned a Guardian ad Litem, whom my son's father totally disregarded even though it would have been in our son's best interest . James Schneider had just helped a drug addict, whom I feel was a major contributor to my sons journey into addiction, as a child.... who beat his own son until he BECAME UNCONSCIOUS..and would later suffer from a severe TBI...gain custody. My son's friends, who are now adults, and I, will testify under oath to this in court. I phoned Schneider November18th...2024....247 tear filled days after my son's passing and told him of his passing, my only child, and that I would love to take him to court for contributing to his death because, you see, I have NOTHING left to lose. Schneider let me talk then said .. "I'm sorry about your son..Thanks" and hung up...I guess morals, ethics and compassion are NOT his strong suit. You cannot defend the Indefensible!!! I still possess that letter.. and it breaks my heart to think that another human being would take such advantage of a child.I have to ask myself, does James Schneider have a conscience?? And I only pray any parent reading this will NEVER !! ever have to sign their own child's cremation consent form. I Love my son and miss my son more than words can express. I will continue to until I take my last breath on this earth And I am with you again, MY SON...MY BEST FRIEND!!
