Want to be transported to Japan while in Australia? This is the place! The cute little Japanese cafe brings the authenticity, craftsmanship, and flavors of Japan to Australian shores.
Named TenTo, the place not only looks a bit like a tent, but it also opens at 6:50AM, ten to 7.
The Chef Ryota Kumasaka is also a clay artists and many of the dishes they serve food in are his own creation. Similarly to his restless pursuit for perfection and high focus on skillful execution, the staff is equally focused on providing you the best experience possible.
The drinks are fruity, light, and refreshing. The food is meticulously executed and absolutely delicious. No detail is left untouched. Even the simple oysters get the grandiose treatment. The cuisine is at its core Japanese but it's also modern fusion, where they blend tradition with modern flavors and creativity to delight not only the palette, but also the eyes with their stunning execution.
TenTo delivered one of the best meals we've had in Sydney and I'd highly recommend visiting this unassuming spot. read more
