A very busy brunch place, but we only had to wait about 10 minutes. It was a bit crowded for 5 of us at a square table. We were given plastic cups and water but my cup had crumbs in it which was gross. I had a cappuccino that was pretty good. My friend's smoothie came out in a bottle which was a little disappointing. My friends' breakfast toasties came out pretty quickly. They were hearty sandwiches for only $10. I had the BBQ brisket hash and my friend had the smashed avo toast with egg. Both of our dishes took significantly longer to come out. The hash was good just not what I was expecting. It had beans, chickpeas, and lentils. The meat was tasty and there was a nice lime aioli with it that gave it a lot of taste. My friend said her smashed avo toast was great. Overall, a decent place but want to try more brunch places before I would come back. read more

This place reeks trendy. Regrettably not quite as good as she looks. Ordered a Southern Fried Chicken burger. It came with coriander slaw, chipotle solid, manchego ?, pickled cabbage and crunch y chips. Trouble was, the chicken was a bit too dry and Coa ing was a little less than I would have liked. The bun was pleasant enough, but the crunchy chips, just weren't. Sorry. Hope my next visit will be s bit better. read more

First impression: perfectly cute tuckshop more geared toward those seeking nice coffee or a quick pastry.... they hide their actual food very well, but I promise it's there! Not a ton of options, but existing options all seemed good. I opted for the broccoli & 3 cheese toastie... think adult grilled cheese on bread with several seeds in it and a tasty broccoli/cheese combo melted inside. Although it was very tasty, my only complaint is that they aren't big on changes and I hate pickles (indeed, my toastie came with pickles). It's a "seat yourself" spot and a little crowded inside, but plenty of outdoor seating. Definitely worth a quick trip if you're in the area! read more

HAD to check out this brother store of Bellagio Cafe as Bellagio is top notch. Unfortunately this was only a quick visit with take-away coffees and a cinnamon scroll. The coffees were warm, staff didn't seem too happy to be working, the cafe is small so during the Saturday morning rush it gets a bit tricky to manoeuvre and the cinnamon scroll was near-stale. Perhaps the fan blowing on all of the treats was part of the issue here? read more

A neighborhood gem in Bondi junction. Super high-quality, scratch-made brunch and lunch foods with style all its own. Was drawn here to sample their brisket, which turned out to be excellent. Delicious bark, tender, flavorful with a light smoky taste that was, crave-worthy. Had the house made beans, which come laced with bacon and tomato with a lite sprinkle of crispy fried shallots. Sydney style breakfast?! Sign me up. Had a Campos Coffee cappuccino, which was among the best I've ever had this side of Italy. Service was friendly and efficient- Kudos to Nelson Road Tuckshop! Fantastic cafe!! A new discovery for me so only been once but my lunch was SCRUMPTIOUS as well as healthy= best combo ever. I had the roast heirloom carrot salad with haloumi and avocado on the side. Scrumptious! Everything is out of control delicious looking on the baked good side also. Have to indulge next time... Delightful wait staff, I was especially lucky because I needed help deciding amongst all the amazing options and they were very patient. Nelson Road Tuckshop is a wonderdul cafe thats worth its weight in gold for sure. It offers good wholesome and healthy food in a nice location. The cafe is run by a husband and wive team and the menu is heavy on health conscious options. They serve up breakfast, brunch and a range of awesome looking juices. They also have some sweet treats available for those who feel like a treat. I arrived for a late lunch and the guys were happy enough to serve me even though I made it with 10 minutes to close. I decided to go for a Chai Tea with a chicken and salad combo. The salad was delicious and came with roasted beets and carrots with onions and lentils. The chicken was fried southern style just like grandma used to make it if she was a kickass big lady from the US South. Awesome really delicious. Up there with the best fried chicken i have had. The chai tea came served in a cool tea pot and was plenty of mugs worth to savour the spicy blend. The staff are very friendly and seem to love working here because while they were cleaning up I could hear them giving their best renditions to the audio Playlist. This is a great little place close to relatively awful bondi junction. Is tucked (get it!!) on a corner of Bronte road. Cute outdoor seating and a fab breakfast menu. I had the tuck shop brekky which was sensational! Soft boiled eggs, avocado, pancetta, roasted tomatoes - delicious!! And great coffee as well. Nice looking lunch menu. read more

Nelson Road Tuckshop is one of those places that you could describe with seemingly sophisticated reviews to match the demography of their clientele. Interiors and food are appealing but also have prices to match. If you feel trendy-spendy today head over to 60 Bronte Rd in BoJu and leave $4 for your Campos-roasted brewed beverage, which tasted more like $2.80. Nice almond croissants though. read more

At last, an unpretentious, down to earth cafe that serves amazing, original food. Just been for Sunday breakfast and the Tuckshop breakfast with soft boiled eggs, avo and smashed peas is a definite winner. The coffee also scores an A+. First off, water glasses were filthy - we used 3-4 napkins to get them modestly clean. When it came time to order, we do not eat carbs and did not want toast with the avocado. The staff refused to provide us with a plate without toast, which would have saved them money and averted wasted food. Stopped here for a late breakfast. I was running late so I asked my friend to order me something filling and arrived to one seriously impressive dish. The tuckshop breaky was eagerly awaiting for me to devour it, a great mix of flavours of pumpkin, egg, surprisingly sweet vine tomatoes and avocado. The crispy pastrami was a first for me and I absolutely loved it. The staff are fun and welcoming and really compliments the great vibe that is flowing in the Cafe. Just far enough away from the hustle and bustle of Bondi Westfield which is a nice little bonus as well. Try not to pay at the counter as you will be immediately overwhelmed by the diet ending treats. But if you were wondering the gluten free brownie was delicious. Great value and I cannot recommend enough. read more

Stopped in here for a couple of coffees but after seeing the food coming out will definitely be back to sample. Some of the breakfast options that caught our eye include the Sri Lankan curried eggs, smashed avo and 4 cheese toastie! This cafe is on a popular corner in Bondi Junction with seating inside and out and it's not unusual to see a line up for tables or takeaway coffee. This place has a great vibe and the treats at the counter look tempting. If you come after 11:30 you can get the lunch options including pulled pork sandwich and the southern fried chicken burger. The food here is delicious, and I echo the sentiment of the total stranger next to me who kept saying "oh but now I want that!". Having said that, it's extremely busy and space is at a premium, and the staff did appear to be struggling to keep up with floor service. The kitchen was definitely putting food out faster than they could deal with. My coffee order was initially forgotten, but was very good once it came. If they'd had more staff on to deal with the numbers then this would be 5 stars for sure. read more

I lived in Allens Parade (corner street of this cafe) for around 2 years and moved out just before this place opened. Terrible timing...if I still lived there this would be my go-to brunch/lunch place most weekends. Now it's about 30 mins away but I will be coming back regularly to try new things from their menu. The red smoothie was delicious. I ordered the rye toast and the plate came out with three serves of seriously thick cut toast. I couldn't finish it all. This is one of my favorite restaurants in Bondi. The service is always friendly and the food is great. Most recently I had one of their muesli dishes (Like granola) with figs, kombucha honey and other fresh ingredients. It was some of the best food I've had in a long time. Just wanted to order a coffee on my way to work. The waiter took the takeaway order for the person in front of me. But, he did not take my order. So I thought I would just wait in line beside the counter and hopefully the barista behind the counter would take my order.
