I don't know whether or not I need to scale my reviews in the context of the location - there isn't much else to compare this place to, but I've been to much better supermarkets in general, so this place gets 3 stars. It's a relatively small store that stocks a decent amount of stuff. They have Vietnamese chili garlic sauce and Korean ramen, which surprised me, but the produce section is on the smaller side - reminds me of the produce selection at the Target and Walmart superstores. There's a small pay-per-pound buffet that has a different theme each day. It's all right. The prices are decent but a little higher than what I'm used to. The staff are friendly, but so is everyone else in this part of the country.

If you are doing laundry at the laundromat, there is room to park your RV there, and you can walk to the SuperValu while you are doing laundry. Their sign says KRAUSE'S. It's not as large as, say, a KROGER, but they have most anything you might want. They even sell Borax, which is something I use a lot of for cleaning in my RV. In their cleaners section, I did notice that they sell the Greenworks brand, if you like that brand. I didn't see any other "green" brand there, just the standards that have been around for years. Their Asian and Hispanic aisles have a decent selection if you like Asian or Mexican cooking. They have a bakery that makes donuts. Produce looked pretty good. I'm not sure how it compares price wise, I haven't shopped that much in North Dakota grocery stores. But, if you need to kill time while doing laundry a few steps over, and you happen to need food, this will have most any food item you would need.

Absolutely horrible experience compared to the other day. I was here 3 days ago and Glen was a rockstar and helped me get groceries, my card had suffered damage and I am fighting homelessness while attempting to stay afloat with my 2 small children but Glen and his supervisors helped me figure it out and we learnt the cash register code together to get through this last month of benefits that unfortunately put on a food stamp card, which today got me handed nothing but bigotry and looked down upon. The staff refused to call in a manager and got very aggressive with me and showed disgust at my mentioning it's my veteran benefits...everyone deserves a second chance but this man pretending to be a leader needs a second chance at a drug test; stimulants were not tuned down with his marijuana vape puffs he takes in his smoke breaks, med patient or not it is against Walmart policies. I apologized for my sailor jargon and controlled my vocabulary, he should have as well but obviously he has not received the proper training of a real leader. I am appalled at their behavior and the crew allowing such a negative tone to dictate their work environment. I'd give one less star if I could but Glen deserves the 1 star.

Despite the massive interior, it was easy to navigate. The space was clean, bright, and full of useful signage. And with one-third of the store dedicated to groceries, it was really convenient to get some water and snacks during the same toiletry run. The parking lot is a bit of a hot mess, definitely could use a refresh similar to the store itself. But in terms of convenience, selection, and price, this Walmart did the job!

We called on a Saturday night and learned they were closed. No problem -- we asked what time to come in the next day and whether we could schedule an appointment. We were told appointments weren't available, but to arrive by 7:00 a.m. We showed up at 6:45 a.m., only to be informed that they had appointments scheduled until 9:00 a.m., and those would take priority. Again, fine -- we asked if we could make an appointment, as he said no, they did not do same day appointments. We asked if we could leave the tire, as we only had one spare. They said yes, so we left the tire and came back around 9:00 a.m. Plan was at 9:00 we would come back to a fixed tire, and they would put it on the truck and than take the other one off and fix it. We arrived back at 9:00. That's when we were told they couldn't repair the tire and that we would need to buy new tires. They did not call and tell us this, just left the tire until we showed back up. Unfortunately, they didn't have anything suitable for our truck, and one of the gentlemen tried to sell us passenger highway tires, which clearly wouldn't work. We declined. After we declined, the gentelmen just walked away and was not interested in helping us any longer. At that point, a young woman with long blonde hair stepped in to assist us. She was absolutely amazing. She took the time to listen, came up with a real solution, and was transparent throughout the process. She even came out multiple times to update us on what was happening with the vehicle. Importantly, she didn't try to upsell us with tires that weren't appropriate -- she truly helped us make it home safely with what we had. She was wonderful, and we really appreciated her help. Unfortunately, the older gentleman we first dealt with was the opposite -- he didn't listen, wasn't helpful, and came across as someone who just wanted to make a sale rather than help us solve a problem.

For a town this size the store is very well stocked. I make my own sausage and was very surprised to see most all of the product to make what I need.
