It isn't grand in the ostentatious way you might expect, but grand like an elderly aunt with an understated aura of quality, perhaps even slightly old fashioned, but still proper enough to sniff her nose at the rabble. The rooms are very nice, with lots of storage, and a couple extra blankets, with the room key being the "ticket" to get lights, a mini refrigerator, but alas no coffeemaker. The WiFi works well and the bed is comfortable, the pool is relaxing and the spa services are amazingly refreshing, but my favorite thing was sitting on the balcony, listening to the birds and reveling in the sights and sounds. There aren't enough superlatives to describe my interactions with the employees, so I'll just say that so far they've hit all the marks. The hotel has dining options and some dancing in their piano bar, some options require "elegant dress". (That leaves me out so someone else will have to review that activity.). As expected, there is no shortages of places to explore nearby within walking distance. While a car or taxi is an option, don't deprive yourself of the experiences of a walking sojourn. You can come back to the hotel with a stash of stories to tell over a glass of wine in the lobby bar.

I had a consultation/trial with her earlier this year at her home studio to show inspiration photos for hair and makeup, try on some different styles, ask a million questions, and get advice. She worked with me on all these things and I never felt rushed to get everything On the day of the wedding, she came with two assistants and got an early start in the morning. The schedule was followed(ish) as expected with time to spare - no added time-related stress for this bride! Also, I had changed my mind about some of the colours since the trial and she patiently tried out different things until I was happy with the result; I think I ended up changing the lipstick 3 times! Afterwards, payment too was a breeze. Lisa was so lovely to work with and I received so many compliments during my wedding day regarding her work :)

L'ultima volta ho preso un appuntamento per un massaggio visto che avevo passato due giorni in aereoporto a dormire su scomodissime sedie. Cinzia e' stata bravissima ed e' riuscita a sciogliere la maggior parte dei nodi che avevo nelle spalle, nel collo e nella schiena. Sono ritornata dopo un paio di giorni per completare il trattamento. I trattamenti che ho provato in questo studio nel corso degli anni sono stati: manicure, pedicure, ceretta viso e corpo, pulizia del viso, lettino solare/doccia solare e massaggio. Tutti i trattamenti sono stati apprezzati vivamente. Devo anche specificare che, paragonato ad altri centri che ho visitato sia in Europa che in America, estetica relax ha prezzi molto abbordabili...specialmente se si fa' la comparazione qualita'/prezzo!

Felt super clean after he shaved my neck and put some stylish gel in my hair. Super nice dude too. There was a bit of a language barrier but we both tried speaking each others languages. Amazing shop. Next time my friends are in the Venice area, I won't send them to the canals ... I'll send them here! Haha for real though use this dude... super nice and does a great job.
