Somehow, Dr. Kiss Fish popped up in my search results, and I was intrigued. I mentioned it to my wife, and she immediately said she would not do it. I brought up the fact that we didn't have a ton to do in Venice anyway, and she quickly let her guard down and agreed to give it a try. So what it is? You clean your feet off and then stick them in a tank, where little fish bite the dead skin off your feet. Yep. First off, we got quite lost trying to find this place. I would definitely recommend trying to ask a local for help, because the address system in Venice is not the most organized. If you're going by Apple Maps, it'll put you in the general vicinity, but it's definitely not accurate. Once we arrived, we found out that it was 10 Euros for 10 minutes. They were very sanity about making sure our feet were as clean as they could be before we stuck them in the tank. It was so weird to initially put our feet in, and it definitely tickled a lot! But within a couple of minutes, it really didn't feel that weird. The one thing I can definitely say is that it does not hurt, if you're worried about that. My wife was in the tank next to mine and the fish in that tank seemed to be a lot more interested in eating. That, or, my wife's feet were way grosser? The funniest part of the experience were all of the passers-by who would stop to take pictures of us having this done. We were the only customers in here and were sat really close to the front by the window. So many people stopped by that it felt like we were in a zoo. Many people tried to ask us what it was like in very broken english, but no one actually ended up signing up to have it done. Apparently we were not very good sales people. I would definitely recommend it if you're in Venice! It's definitely something we will never forget and was only 10 Euros! We found Venice to be as beautiful as we hoped it would be, but also kind of ran out of things to do after a couple of days. Definitely stop by!

I asked the lady in the front and she said 10-15 minutes is most common. First you wash your feet with antibacterial soap which is provided then wear plastics bag on your feet while you wait to your station. Then you put your feet in and the little fishies come and start doing their magic. Once done you wipe your feet then lotion is provided. Your feet feel softer when you are done. A nice thing to try. The St. Regis Venice is on its own island about 10 minutes away from San Marcos (St. Mark's Square) but don't worry because this is the St. Regis, they offer a complimentary boat to and from San Marcos every half an hour. The boat ride is ten minutes away and it's a boat ride I enjoyed every time. I thought I've experienced service but this hotel takes it to another level. From the moment you get off the boat, they have someone welcoming you, walking you to the hotel where they put you at the front desk's hand. From there, the front desk checks you in, walks you to your room to ensure everything is perfect in the room. We were greeted with delicious truffles in our room. I'm picky about my chocolate but the St. Regis ones definitely passed my palate. After the front desk lady leaves, they inform you the butler, yes butler (his name is not Alfred or Benson) will be coming over soon to help you unpack if you need it and their staff are at our disposal 24 hours. We didn't use the butler to help us unpack or iron our clothes but he did bring coffee up to us one morning which was great. When we returned at night we were greeted with chocolate and a bottle of wine (I think it's because it was our honeymoon). The staff are the most polite staff you will ever meet and definitely people that want to make you enjoy every single second of your vacation. When it was raining, they made sure we had an umbrella to use. When we asked what they recommend us doing, they got us a private boat to see the Murano glass. I will be up front and say nothing everything was perfect as there were a couple of issues such as the water did drain fast enough in the shower but they did fix it the next day and the safe wasn't working properly. I'm giving them a pass because the hotel is very new and sometimes it takes time to get the kinks out. Anyway the hotel has a small but nice gym, tennis courts, pool and a few very expensive restaurants (breakfast is 43 euros). The hotel room was absolutely one of the most beautiful hotel rooms we've been in plus it was also bigger than all the hotel rooms we've stayed at in Italy. The problem we have now is, now that we've experienced this, how can we stay at any other hotel that isn't as good as this St. Regis? We loved Venice and without a doubt will come back and when we do this is where we'll stay.

Brunella and Carlo as leads worked very well with our wedding planner and the whole day went by very smoothly, even with pending rain and some last minute changes/requests. The stay at the hotel itself was so lovely as well. Cinzia e' stata bravissima ed e' riuscita a sciogliere la maggior parte dei nodi che avevo nelle spalle, nel collo e nella schiena. Sono ritornata dopo un paio di giorni per completare il trattamento. I trattamenti che ho provato in questo studio nel corso degli anni sono stati: manicure, pedicure, ceretta viso e corpo, pulizia del viso, lettino solare/doccia solare e massaggio. Tutti i trattamenti sono stati apprezzati vivamente. So instead of going and seeing Padova my son want to enjoy the pool!! We make are way down to the pool mind you isn't in the actual hotel building and when we arrive at the door it doesn't open? A little perplexed I notice the sign that says go downstairs to the spa to use the pool..... ok so we make are way down there and the woman at the counter looks us up and down and says your not wearing your robes it's required to use the pool. I explain are room doesn't have any bathrobes in it should there be? At this point she asks for my room number and tells me that the pool is not free it is 15 euro a person!!!!! What? Are you serious? This is a best western do you think this is a J.W. Marriot? Oh wait I'm platinum elite with Marriott and have never been charged to use a pool in my life. So I go up to speak to the hotel manager and she offer to let me use the pool oh wait no she doesn't she says too bad no pool unless you pay $30 euro! I then explained that I would prefer to leave the only reason I was here was the pool she was so kind to explain to me that I could leave of course but she was charging me for all of the days I reserved no matter what. So this is why I decided to write in detail of my absolutely horrific experience at this hotel and I recommend no one else getting caught in the scheme to charge for a pool that is listed on Priceline as an amenity with no mention of a charge for use.

Bed and shower the 2 things that make or break it werent great. So thats the bad, now the pool area and bar are very nice. The breakfast and supper we had were good and the service was good. When we had issues they did deal with them. So is it somewhere I would stay for a holiday no but it works for a night or 2
