Leaving a 1 star review right off the bat. I scheduled an inspection of an apartment I am moving into tomorrow (I already have the keys today) and wanted to have it inspected to ensure that there were no pests, specifically bedbugs. They put me on the schedule and today, I called to double check that the appointment was still happening and she confirmed that I had an appointment set for today but it was, for some reason, removed from the schedule. She was unable to determine why this happened but said that she would speak to the manager. I got no notice whatsoever that this happened until I called. She tried to offer to have a technician come tomorrow to inspect but I pointed out that I needed it inspected before I moved and she said she was unable to do anything to get the inspection completed today. I pointed out that this was the company's fault for not doing their due diligence and ensuring my appointment remained on the calendar but she stated that there was still nothing she could do. I said okay and told her to enjoy the 1 star yelp review. Don't go to this company if you are expecting punctuality because clearly they can't be bothered to ensure their promises are upheld. read more

I was not able to give a zero! First, ordered the service for my 80 year old father. The inspector, stood in one place at the house but noted there was a moderate infestation on the contract. After I paid in full, a service was scheduled for Tuesday. Sadly, nobody showed up. Service Manager, Devin, said he could not control when people are sick but would get someone out the next day at 9:00 AM. Again, nobody showed up. Another phone call was made to the director, with no return call to date. an 1 1/2 later, a technician called to say he would be out the next day. Service canceled! Unacceptable communication. Horrible customer service. No accountability and management (director) doesn't care. read more

DO NOT use this company.! If I could give zero stars, I would. This has been the biggest mistake and waste of money to an incompetent company. I called them to come and give evaluation of our mice issues. I thought I was choosing a national company with the backing of a large organization . This is not even close to what you get with this company. We were told that we should have insulation installed in our attic that would be rodent repellent. However, the crew that was sent to our house were not trained to do the work, per their own admission. Their supervisor was 2 hours late in arriving. And then their equipment did not work. They had to return the next day and once again , their supervisor was 2 hours late. And big surprise- the equipment still didn't work. When they finally did get everything functioning, they had to work until 8 pm to finish the job. They left a huge mess, insulation all over our house and yard. They damaged the paint on our ceiling and banister. They did not have a way to dispose of the old insulation, so they filled our dumpster that we had for remodeling purposes. After calling and complaining and detailing the situation ,Thomas the now manager said he would come out and investigate. After he looked around, he said that they had not done their job correctly and that he would come out with a new crew and make it right. Well after another two days of work, he said everything was now complete. I took him at his word since he said it was wrong the first time. Obviously it's still not correct. We had another insulation issue and we had an actual insulation company come out and assess the work that had been done by Terminex. This is what they found: the depth of insulation was not at the proper level for code, they covered up soffits and the natural venting for a roof, they did not put insulation in the eaves. They also disconnected our bathroom exhaust fan and it is now just blowing into the attic. That is now causing mold issues. As of today, three weeks after making Teminex corporate aware of this issue and speaking to Thomas, I have not had any response and am now having to have the issue corrected before it gets worse. DO NOT use this company. They should not be allowed to install insulation or sell services that they are untrained to provide. It is poor business practices and no accountability. We paid $8000+ for these services and did not get our job done correctly. read more

If I could get away with no stars; I absolutely would. Terminix is clearly running a scam and have no idea how to properly exclude wildlife from a home. I've been charged over 2,000 dollars for "technicians" to come out to my home less than 5 times in the past year. When they do show up (after I constantly call customer service and badger them) they set a trap, leave, and never come back. As of today, I still have raccoons completely destroying my attic and the regional manager has yet to return my phone calls, even after I've threatened legal action. If you are looking for wildlife exclusion services, I suggest any company but Terminix. read more

I just bought my house 6 months ago and started noticing what appeared to be termite activity in my basement and on one of my trees. Obviously I was panicked thinking of the potential damage. I first went to Terminix's website and entered in my contact information to schedule a visit for a quote. By the next day no one had contacted me so I called. The woman I spoke to was very rude. She said her scheduler was out in the field but would call me by the afternoon to let me know the next time they'd be in my area. I live in a small town 25 miles outside of a large city. She said it could be as far out as month before they could come out to do an inspection. I was flabbergasted. I can't wait a month. It is now the following day after that phone call and guess what? I never have received a call from their scheduler. I called Orkin right after I hung up the phone with her and they were at my house within 4 hours of my phone call. They did a thorough inspection and even went up into my attic and learned I have a bat colony. I setup services to do termite prevention, carpenter ant extermination (that's what is killing my tree), and bat removal as well as patching up the holes in my attic so the bats can't get back in, and they're blowing in an additional 9" of insulation in my attic - they're coming today (the day after their inspection) to do the work. I didn't even know they did all of that work for bat removal and repair. The techs were very empathetic and professional. I've never had to call a pest control company ever before in my life, but I'm making sure to tell anyone else I know who is a home owner my experience. read more

I had them for one year. Had bat problems. I asked for them to come see why they were getting in the house. Terminex has a big issue with showing up. It took three different scheduled times with me waiting around my house for them to show up. A guy comes out finally and all he talked about is a different business his working for and that I should go with and how Terminex, the store manager sucks and distract manager sucks and they don't know what they are doing and not reliable. He tells me I have all these issues in my attack and he throw bait blocks in the attic with out stations. So anything that gets in my attack can eat their poison and die. He texted me his personal number, which he did a couple days later txt me if I wanted my house fixed by his other business that is run by a husband and wife and he gets kick backs for sending people over to them. He leaves and calls me to say don't tell on me I don't want to get into trouble. I ended up going to Orkin to get the bat problem fixed and gutter guards. Orkin also told me that there was no bat colony or fungus in my attic like Terminex told me there was. Terminex district manager and store manager called asked for the story I told them. I was told by store manager it was illegal to have bait blocks free like that in the attic, and he would come Wednesday at 10 to get them down. Guess what he never showed up or called me even after I left a voicemail. That was the last straw for me I canceled them and I called Orkin to come out and get me a pest bundle. That's one big pet peeve of mine. You tell some one your coming out and never show. I do not recommend. Unless your ok with them never showing up when they say. read more

OMG! Rude, unprofessional and unethical to start with. Extensive previous termite activity found in the home we just moved into. Terminix has been servicing this home for at least two years and did not report activity to the owner! Because "it's not our job". They only" look for live bugs". read more

Our rating is primarily based on your service associate, Ron Peters. He has been doing our pest control for over 15 years and is very reliable and careful. He is much more reliable than the Terminix website. This site is difficult to work with, change or correct service dates, and sends out incorrect information to multiple service representatives. Ron is responsive, reliable and gets the job done! He makes sure no bugs, spiders or other crawly things are in our house and does this without a smell or any residue on our carpet, floors or furniture. read more

I would not recommend this place to anyone it's a waste of money. The guy who came out to spray our house squirted one little area in each room and called it done instead of going all around each room! Rip off! read more
