I started going to Terra Atma approximately one year ago. Kin had assured me that she was well trained in her field. As a result I did have a number of facial treatments done by her. Kin had discussed doing a laser treatment on my chest due to my age and sun damage. I trusted her and so went ahead with the treatment. Within one hour of completing the treatment there were large blisters on my chest filled with fluid. I felt like I was going to pass out and was sick to my stomach. I called Terra Atma and spoke to Deandra. She told me to come down right aways. When she saw my chest she said she had never seen that before. She also asked me if I was worried. Kin then came out and looked at it and said it was fine and to use some aloe vera on it. Later that day she texted me and told me to come in for a moisture infusion on the weekend. In the meantime the blisters were popping and fluid was leaking out and my skin was peeling and sore. She continued to tell me it was normal. After the moisture infusion there was no change in the skin on my chest and I could see multiple scars where the pigment was gone. I continued to contact her about this and she suggested microneedling for which she was going to charge me. It was at that point I was disgusted with her lack of concern about the damage she had done and I realized it was not about fixing the damage but more about the money. I had a conversation with Kin regarding this. I had to contact her to get her to try to repair the damage and had a couple other procedures done which did nothing. I had by then talked to several people including spa technicians who said that she should try to repair the damage she had done at no cost to myself. Since then she has been very cold and distant and very disinterested in the impact this has had on my life. I will no longer wear low cut tops or be in the sun. People ask me what happened to my chest or how I got burned. I finally had to go to a doctor to seek treatment. The doctor said the damage is probably irreversible however possibly with several treatments could be minimized. I have contacted Kin since seeing the doctor and have yet to hear back from her. I am considering taking legal action. Not only are there financial implications but physical and emotional injuries as well. I had been a good client of Terra Atma spending thousands of dollars and the least she could do is show some remorse or concern for what she has done. read more
