Great food great atmosphere Fantastic service. Limited English spoken here for us makes us broaden the Mexican language. Italian, traditional Mexican cuisine. We ordered Camarones Costeños, Sopa de Frijol, Manzana Verde, Empanadas, Camarones Oaxaqueños. Everything we ordered was delicious. The service was on par with making sure our drinks are full and the food was good. Would be wise to make reservations for the evening, this place is packed with people. Read the reviews and,... well had to try the coconut French toast. Problem is I also wanted an omelette. Solution, half order and the ham and cheese omelette. It's way too much food, so my wife and I split the French toast and ordered entrees. She ordered divorced eggs (yup a real thing) and I got the omelette. We will definitely come back. read more

Came to this restaurant off the main square in seek of AC. Surprisingly nice spot with white table cloths, fortunately got seated as a table of 10 right away. Our group ordered a ton but no one raved about our meals. I didn't finish my mango salad and our steak was way over cooked - we couldn't eat it. This is a must stop for foodies in Huatulco! It looks like a hole in the wall from the outside but once you get inside it's a 5star establishment. The ambiance was wonderful a nice brake from the humidity and heat. I had the arrachera steak medium rare. It was so soft and flavorful melted in my mouth. The wife and I shared the queso fondido with chorizó it was full of flavor. The kids had a corn empanada and the 4 cheese pasta. The pasta was to die for! We tried several mezcals and mixed drinks, the package was complete! The deserts I could barely eat due to being stuffed but so flavorful. Once again if you can make it to Terra Cotta you won't be disappointed! read more

I'm so grateful that the group I was with had the time and energy to have a dinner on our last night in Hualtulco. Even more pleased it was Terra Cotta. The ambiance was decorative and well kept, the service impeccable and the food was superbly prepared and presented. I had the fresh fish of the day, Mahi Mahi, with coconut shredded and slight oil fried. A scoop of rice to top it off. My dinner mates, had Camarones (Shrimp locally farmed), Cheese and mushroom soup and the other had Mahi Mahi garnished with mushrooms and crisp baby brussell sprouts. This restaurant has a bakery that offers walk away baked goods and simply put, I was just too full to consider a desert nor take away breads. When in Huatulco please consider the Terra Cotta. Pricing is very reasonable and given the quality of the faire, it was a great value. read more

This was our first time here and it was great! Sonia was our server and she provided "gold standard"service. Dining out is always better when you have superb service. "Gracias" Sonia!! All of the other staff were very friendly and professional. The interior is clean, fresh and air conditioned. Started off with an awesome appetizer of coconut shrimp to accompany my margarita, both were very delicious. For my entree I had the "Arrachera" aka marinated flank steak and I will have trouble ordering anything else in the future. It was outstanding! My dinning experience in Huatulco has been great so far. One of the places my friends and I stopped for dinner was Terra Cotta and it was great. We each had a different dish and tried and picked here & there. I started with the queso fundido, then had the Salmon plate with sweet potato mash and spinach. They were both really good And lastly, what can I say about Qaxaca cheese? Everyone who's had Mexican food knows it's great! People come near and far just to experience eating it. Every dish in this place that I tried was tastier than the next. It's one of the nicest places in town outside of the resorts. I didn't get a photo of my food and really wish I had but I know I'll come back some day & will definitely eat at TC again when in town. read more

If you're dying from humidity heat, you need to eat here. The whole place has air conditioning! They have menus in English and Spanish. We came here like every day during our visit. I loved the Earl Grey Latte and a slice of the chocolate cake! My fiancé loved that his iced coffee was poured into a giant goblet every time. Great for dessert. The salads are huge. We weren't impressed with the main courses, but we were impressed with the ambiance. Very family friendly. It was a place I could see that was cherished by the locals. read more

Even when we were hungry, we walked past several establishments because of their menu. My wife had been craving spaghetti for whatever reason for a few days. So this Italian Restaurant was full when we entered but the waiter found us a window table. My wife ordered a lemonade and spaghetti bolognese and I ordered the "curandero" mezcal+maracuya+mint drink and a marguerita pizza. We both devoured our meals. Delicious. And great service by Marcos. Terra Cotta is a very good value. We didn't eat any main courses that were memorable. But, we ordered about six dishes and ate them family style, and each dish tasted good. The pan francés was noteworthy. The portions were huge and it was one of the better desserts I had in Huatulco. read more

The food was delicious. The service was great. They really have many options for people who are looking for different types of food. I ordered coconut encrusted fish and my girlfriend ordered the pepperoni pizza. We also got the coconut shrimp appetizer. The fish came with a mango salsa that was very very good. They also gave us bread at the beginning of our meal which came with some really good garlic butter. If I had more time in Huatulco, I would love to try the other options on the menu! read more

This was our first time at a fine dining restaurant in Mexico and it didn't disappoint. Make sure you get a reservation before hand as the place was very busy and we noticed them turning people away. Once we were brought to our table, we ordered our food. We got some guacamole and some empanadas which were awesome. I had a fillet mignon which was a little more well than I would of liked but still awesome seasoning. My wife had chicken stuff with cheese and a mushroom sauce which she enjoyed. For desert we had coconut cake which tasted good but was a little dry. Prices were all really reasonable as well. I'd recommend the restaurant to anyone visiting. read more

Beautiful restaurant. Has AC. Great service. Food is good but I don't order the 'Mexican' food here. It's over priced and bland- except for the chilaquiles con salsa rojo (you can only order this at breakfast). The French toast is excellent, so are the omelettes. Lunch starts at 1pm. The Pasta de Chile Árbol is a little spicy but one of my favorites. The Margarita Pizza is good. Great salads. The crema de poblana soup is very good as well. The mixed drinks I've had here didn't blow me away, but the red wine is reasonably priced at 50 pesos and is a good 7 or 8 oz portion. In high season (November-February) it can be difficult to get a table and you may have to wait for one during their peak dining hours. Overall, I recommend this restaurant to friends when they come to town and I come here often myself. read more

We finally had the opportunity to try this restaurant for breakfast and we were not disappointed at all. We had read reviews regarding their breakfast specifically the French Toast. The French Toast was one of the best we've had and the other dish we ordered the omelette ranchero which was just as good also. We came her for breakfast a week into our visit. While we thoroughly enjoy the tropical feel of Huatulco, the air conditioning felt great while dining. The Mexican breakfast were authentic and very good. However, the stuffed coconut French toast was excellent! My daughter could barely finish her 1/2 order. The juices and smoothies were all made fresh, especially good was the green juice. Staff was very attentive, restaurant was busy but not full for this off season breakfast. read more

Wonderful find in Huatulco! Beautiful, quaint little restaurant. Felt like a cafe in Europe! Can eat indoors (great air conditioning!) or outdoors. Accepting credit cards is a nice convenience. Was hoping for lunch, as it was near noon (on a Saturday) but was told it did not start til 1:00. Very tasty dishes. Amazing guacamole and red 'Smokey' sauce served with meal. Very attentive staff here. Seemed a bit hectic in restaurant/hurried atmosphere. Next visit, there were less customers and so it was a more relaxed atmosphere. Was nice to watch the sidewalk/street/people watch out window. Great prices! Seems to be popular with locals. Great shopping boutiques near here too! I would return. read more
