I was told via text message that I will no long be able to make an appointment because I didn't give them 24 hours notice for the cancelation. There are plenty of dental offices in the area. I would suggest people use them 1st or go to the emergency dental center for compassionate dental care. Again Stay away from this dental office. They don't treat people with disabilities with anything close to respect.

Not everyone enjoys the dentist but I actually like it. The reason being is I like my dentist and her staff. I don't really enjoy practically laying down with my mouth open, with saw like sounds coming from it but there are tvs to distract you from all the noise. The dentists also speak Cantonese which is good for people who are more comfortable conversing in this language. Through the years there have been some new staff, which haven't been as good as some of the longer staff, and I wished they didn't do work on my teeth. I really appreciated when I didn't have health coverage that they took this into consideration. It's always nice to receive a toothbrush and floss when you leave, although I prefer choosing a toy from the treasure box just like when I was a kid. I will keep coming back as long as the dentists and long time staff continue to work here.

They overcharge for everything and can't even send professional emails (see attachments). They do not accept insurance, they do not accept major cards, and they prefer to accept cash under the table; they do not provide any receipts, and Dr. WHO hires only newly graduated doctors to save salary expenses. Dr. WHO is aggressive and refuses any criticism. They care more about money than patient care, even recommending unnecessary and expensive procedures. Despite having dental insurance, they added extra charges. Today, the receptionist berated me for my reviews, damaging my trust. We found a better clinic; you should too.

On the plus side the office is small (but nice), and I appreciate that they don't waste money on extravagant office space. The TVs above the dental chairs are definitely nice to have during a visit though. The last two times that I've been (in both instances) the hygienists doing my cleaning felt very rough. I specifically asked in one case for the hygienist to be very gentle in a sensitive spot, and pointed it out multiple times, but she continued to hit this spot repeatedly to the point where I was cringing in pain and had to stop her to ask why she kept doing this repeatedly. And, yes, I already know that my gums are bleeding, getting told this over and over repeatedly throughout the course of single cleaning is not going to change that, and it doesn't make me want to come back when I'm getting berated constantly. If I didn't care about my teeth I wouldn't be there in the first place, so rather than berate me about not flossing, offer me some solutions, or try to make the cleaning less painful so that I come more often. I will say my issues have only been recent, and in the past the hygienists I've had have also been excellent. Unfortunately at both of these visits I've also had issues with the front desk staff as well. The front desk staff were unable to answer my questions about the bill and which insurance plan was charged. When they did give me an answer it turned out to be incorrect, and I had to follow-up later over the phone to actually get a correct answer from them. So my overall experience during recent visits hasn't been good. I'd give this place somewhere around a 3.5, but Dr. Yoo himself a 5, and if you get a good hygienist, and don't need answers to any billing or insurance questions then it's probably closer to a 5.

She organized all of my insurance coverage, even calling them to get more information. I thought I had just got her on a good day. Nope! When I went in for my appt she was there and was just as awesome as well as all the wonderful ladies behind the desk. Not to mention they have the newest and coolest massage chair I've ever been in! So that gives them a 5 start just for that! Once all the insurance was cleared up and I went in for my appt it continued to be extremely enjoyable and fun. The doctor is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. He makes sure you understands everything. Not only is the doctor so smart and great but Lori my hygenist was equally as amazing. I have bad anxiety about pain and they did absolutely everything I could have asked for to keep the experience as enjoyable as possible.
