Well I wish I could give this place 5 stars. The facility is beautiful, new and looks in good order. The storage units are very spacious and well lit. However, I was preparing a few items tonight for my move out of town in a couple months when I made a horrifying discovery. While taking a break wrapping up a box of electronics I spilled some water from my water bottle on the ground. Two bugs, what looked like beetles, came scurrying out of a locker across from my own to drink the spilled water. Now, backpacking around SE Asia in my early 20s has made me very familiar with spoting cockroaches and other pests. I suspected they might be by the way they moved, so stomped on them killing one. To my dismay it was 100% a roach. The picture above is one I took right after I stomped it. I have NO idea why roaches are hanging out here. I have rented storage in Burnaby, Vancouver and Prince George, and I have never even seen a bug, let alone a roach. It's pretty surprising because this place is relatively new and looks clean enough that pests like this should not be an issue. I will have to open my kitchen spices and dry goods boxes tomorrow to see if the roaches have infiltrated MY belongings. If they have I will be pursuing this further with the owners. I would highly suggest you look elsewhere for your storage needs as this is absolutely REPULSIVE! read more
