Caren, the property manager, has been super accommodating and always friendly (she enables my coffee addiction regularly). Everything has gone so smoothly and we absolutely adore our new place. Our unit is exactly the way Caren promised it would be and there were only good surprises! The whole community is very pet friendly, with doggy bags and trash cans conveniently located all over the property. We have also met some of the maintenance staff and they are great. They even helped us get our couch through the door! I wish I could give The Hills at Lehigh more than five stars because we are so happy that we found our new home!

If allowed in run water in each bathroom, tub, sink. Kitchen as well. Our double sink never drained on the right side, so after attempt to have it corrected we gave up and never used that side. The garbage disposal was just that. GARBAGE. Multiple work orders resulted in a list of things not to allow in it. Rice, pasta, meat, veggies, fruit peals, apple skins etc. We just scraped plates in the trash can and gave up. The freeze made a loud annoying noise. That part was replaced several times. At night you could hear the neighbors flushing their toilets. Ours made a high pitch noise when the water refilled. There is more to go over. Another post will follow.

The apartments are pushing 15-20 years of age and they haven't done much upkeep. Ours was clean and freshly painted when we moved in, but it was starting to look a little worse for wear...broken floor tiles, awful light fixtures, etc. It took me about 2 hours at Lowe's, 6 hours in the apartment, and $200 to get it to look like we wanted it to and to put in the shelving we needed. The coat closets on the first floor 1 bedrooms are in a weird place, so we just put up a coat rack and turned our coat closet into a pantry. The age also has lent the apartments to start having maintenance issues. Especially toward the end of our lease, we had someone in our apartment once a week fixing things. I don't like having strangers in my apartment, especially when I'm not home. The office manager was nice enough. They did fix things very quickly when they did break. But with a 6% rent increase, we were able to move into a much nicer, brand new apartment for only $50 more per month, and since they cover water in our new place, it's really only $35 more per month. I think they are just overpriced. Not a bad place to live, but it's definitely the worst of the Landmark Communities.
