Terrain On The Parkway - Carpeted Bedroom With Ample Windows and Natural Light

Terrain On The Parkway has been an exceptional living experience. Not only is the location of being…read moretucked away in a park full of green fantastic for an escape from "city" clutter -- the building is absolutely wonderful! I moved in when I was pregnant and construction still happening on the property and was a bit worried about what construction congestion would do to my already heightened hormones...I will say, I was never bothered by it. Mostly because of the staff. Terrain has an unbelievable building manager, Josh, who goes above and beyond to make sure our little community is functioning smoothly, kept clean, inviting and most of all, making it feel warm. Josh not only made our moving in transition effortless but has done an excellent job in building a team that works like a well oiled machine to ensure the residents are well taken care of on all fronts. I have lived in other communities where the manager brushes you off when you are in need of help, or kicks the can down the road or makes you feel like youre just a number to fill a vacancy but Josh has always done the most to make Terrain feel like a tight-knit community. From remembering my name, organizing resident events, sending help when I am in need, to constantly tinkering with the decor in our common area to make sure it is just right -- I highly respect Joshs efforts on every front. The pride he takes in his job to run this building is seen in how beautiful, inviting and full of calm energy our living space is. I am beyond thrilled with my decision to move into this space. Its wonderful!

This place is a joke, first of all, the women who works there, Malinda and Angie, are so rude and…read moreignorant, the only good thing about this place is the new maintenance guy that they hired recently, Eddie, he is very diligent and even though Malinda and Angie who have no idea what they are doing, he tries to fix the problems in these apartments, but the office staff will not approve some things that are essential to our living situation. They really need to fire Malinda and Angie and hire someone who has a way better attitude then those two. I called for something and got hung up on by one of those two.

would advise against seeking anything managed by empire property management. I have been in a unit…read moremanaged by them for a year now and it has been a non-stop whirlwind of ups and downs. They never seem to know what is going on, you can't get ahold of them and when they do finally answer the phone they tell you they will call back but never do. Im suppose to be moving into a unit tomorrow, moving team scheduled and all, and I can't get a hold of them for unit entry. Update on my review. I was finally given access to the unit and when I entered it was a disaster, disgustingly dirty with dirt and grime, a horrendous smell, broken toilet seat and toilet paper holder, a washer that smelled of mold, and a knocked out screen on the floor. So now instead of moving my belongings into the place I have to clean it so it's deemed inhabitable by a human being. The photos I added really don't do it justice of how bad it is.
