Advertised as an indoor flea market it was so much more! It was like a craft fair, hardware store, appliance and carpet store, grocery store, pallet buyout, Co op antique store all rolled into one. Prices were reasonable but retail. Not flea market prices that leave room for us resellers, but there were some interesting things. My friend was able to find a vintage clarinet and I was able to get glue and a candy bar, so it was one stop shopping. The store is very large with ample parking for trucks and rvs and located right off a major highway. While I wish the prices were a little more reseller friendly, I would stop again to browse their interesting mix of inventory.

Their setup is a bit sprawling. Many different areas to go and many greenhouses to explore. I sometimes just mindlessly walk through these like a toddler that is bored out of his mind following their parent. I will linger, touch things, hum to myself, mumble...you know, whatever. I personally did not buy anything while I was here. I ended up just kind of walking about and agreed to what my family was talking about. I actually had my eyes on other things. Like the displays that were out and about. I definitely did make my way over to the koi pond they had and stood there for a good amount of time. But the big thing that held my attention here were the guard cats. I know, they aren't really guard cats, but they were basically staff since they were the resident mousers. One was the most friendly cat in the world and the other was a stealthy mass of fur. Totally stayed in that particular greenhouse for a longer time than need be. Even though I didn't buy a single thing here, I did notice the outstanding customer service this place gave. My parents did have a question in regard to a certain plant and the guy helping them were all over it.

It has not only filled a void in the downtown market with offering clothing and items that you would have to travel out of that area for, but they have also filled the void of a long abandoned storefront. And downtown Johnstown has an abundance of abandoned storefronts. We had somehow stumbled upon Elevate through Etsy before realizing that they have a physical store. To find that this company was Johnstown based thrilled me. My sister convinced me that I should take the time to go with her and see what is up with this place. I loved how they used all the space this had to offer. They utilized every little ounce of window space to let you know exactly the mix of items they sale within. The inside is a mis of new and old. You can use that in two ways. New items with a mix of old in a consignment shop type of way. And old brands of the area on items to buy. I was completely enthralled with the t-shirts as I always am and went directly to that rack. They went straight for the old reliables for the area. Glosser Brothers, Skateland, and what I went with, Richland Mall. I absolutely love the shirt and am so happy I have it in my collection. They have a lot to choose from. You will need time to look this place over, which will give you a good reason to be down in the downtown area. Take your time to look over consignment area. Really reasonable prices and they have rack of nothing but children's clothing all for $5 or less (kids rack only). The owners of the store are amazing. They let us know how they came to own the spot and even shown us a picture of the store that they were given long before they took over the spot. Great addition and well overdue for the downtown area.
