Very cute little store. Has unconventional, gag gifts, some old candy from back in the 80s, jewelry, and country style decor.

I havent lived in the area since I was a child but Browns' turtles are the flavor that defines happiness to me. Buy their candy. Eat it. Enjoy your life; just a little more.

That they have survived is a testament to quality products and determination to overcome the economic difficulties of small towns in this part of mountain country Pennsylvania. Their chocolates are very good, if not the most creative you will find. They know their market and play to it consistently. This Christmas, my in-laws did not know what to get me, so they gave me a box of chocolates. Far better than a tie or scarf. Yes. Forrest Gump could have been sitting at the bus stop in the middle of town near the monument and he would have felt right at home. It was a funny moment. The old fashioned sampler is still sitting on the kitchen table. Every day I open it and take one piece to taste, and my son takes another. The milk chocolates are better than Hershey, Nestle and Cadbury, but not at the level of Lindt, nor Valrhona, or other Euro creamies. The fillings are nice, but not particularly memorable. It is certainly worth a visit if you are in the area and love chocolate that is local and made in fairly small batches. The walk through the shop is entertaining, and the Browns people are pleasant and willing to tell you their history. Too, anything we can do to keep small town America in business is worthwhile.

The service was fast and friendly. We tried the viral Dubai strawberry cups. They pack the cup with strawberries and then drizzle the ingredients on the top. The small was the perfect size for one! But I only gave it 3 stars because pistachio base was not the best tasting out of the ones I've tried (in fact my son ate around it) and they barely put any Katafi in it, only some sprinkled on top. The original shop in Greensburg is really cute with a large variety of old time candy, cute seating, and amazing milkshakes. They mall location does have a small variety of candy but nothing compared to their main location however they do serve all of their amazing milkshakes here too!

There was only one associate working when we visited but she was so sweet and the time she took to make the customers sundaes and shakes shows that she cares about our experience! We ordered the campfire sundae and vanilla shake. This sundae was the perfect size, especially after eating lunch! Look at the picture and you will see that she crafted that sundae with perfection! Every bite of that sundae was like biting into a smore I just made from a campfire. If you are visiting Greensburg, head on to Main Street and visit this fantastic place!
