Unfortunately, it was pouring when we were here and it quickly turned to hail. If you've ever experienced getting hit by hail, you know it's not a pleasant experience. That dampened my mood. My sister wanted to see the Reformation Wall and her map kept giving her wrong directions exposing us to hail while I just wanted to stay under the protection of the trees. The map wanted us to get out of the park, walk uphill, enter a gate which is the entrance of the same park! So, stay inside the park and keep walking away from the main entrance and you'll find the Reformation Wall to your left. You can't miss is. It has bas-relief and giant statues of important Reformation leaders such as John Knox, John Calvin, etc. Was it worth getting pelted by hail? Not really. Did I spend money to see it? No. If the sun was out, I'd imagine myself enjoying this park.

We came in the winter time when the temperature is already very low, and the flower clock was still there. Of course we had to take some touristy pictures. The park itself is not very big, but it's right next to the water so you get a beautiful view of the lakefront. Due to the location, they do host many different events here, and because we came around the time of the holidays, there was a lot of street vendors selling different kinds of food and there was a lot of families enjoying their time. We enjoyed our time here.

If you're visiting the Banc de la Treille (the longest bench in the world), getting here should be easy but we unnecessarily ended up taking a longer route. From the bench, it should just be a short downhill walk--about 5 minutes--into Parc des Bastions, near the Old Town. There was a group of people practicing some Mexican dance when we got there. Wish they let us take our photos for a few minutes, but they were just minding their business that we had to wait until they were done.
