However over the two years my child went to see her, she handled many situations poorly. When treating children, it's equally important to be able to work with all family members in a clear, direct and honest way. She was unable to do that, and ended up making comments to one parent about the other that made the family situation worse. She created conflict and confusion. My child eventually did better when I stopped taking her to see Julia. Another person I know who worked with her was also getting advice that was sometimes helpful, but at other times it made her worse, as the advice seemed to lack compassion & kindness. She helped two of my kids through some really tough times with depression, anxiety, drug use, and really scary things for all of us after my ex and I got divorced. I read one of the other reviews here but I don't know what the other person is talking about. Julia was always understanding and supportive to both me and my ex even when we had difficulty learning how to do that for each other. She seemed to always show care, wisdom, ethics consideration when handling all situations. My kids always felt comfortable with how she talked to them as adults and helped to protect their confidentiality. My ex-wife and I also always felt respected with how she spoke to us during that process. She really helped my kids and helped them stay close to both of us. For that we are eternally grateful. Since that time I have known many friends and neighbors who have seen Julia. Sometimes it can be hard to get on her calendar. It seems like she often has a wait list because she is really good at what she does and people know it. I tried going to some other counselors before and just did not get much out of it. About a year ago I decided to go see Julia as well. She is kind, warm and caring no matter what I talk about. She is extremely insightful and sees things I often miss. But, she is also really funny, so I just have a good time talking. I am feeling so much better about the problems that were bothering me when I started. But I did not expect to really learn so much more about myself along the way. I feel like I am a happier person, a better person for the time I have been going. "Dr." Deonne as she calls herself, is not actually a medical doctor. She has a doctorate degree in…read moresomething relating to medical, and takes advantage of that to call herself "Dr." She is actually a family nurse practitioner. Nothing wrong with being a nurse practitioner, but it is a bit misleading to call yourself "Dr." in a medical setting, if you aren't one. I am not a high-maintenance patient; I go to the Dr. for my annual exam and an occasional illness, but that's about it. I do take a prescription for sleep (that I have taken for over 14 years. Dr. Deonne's office could not seem to manage the monthly refills for this prescription. While my previous Dr (before I moved here) used to call in 6 months worth of refills of this prescription Dr. Deonne would only call in 1-3 months at a time, and demanded that I be seen several times a year before whe would call in a refill. Please note that I said 1-3 months... that's because the # of refills varied from refill to refill. On four seperate occasions during the one year that I was a patient there, I had to call the office several times in order to get my prescription refilled. While I understand that refilling a monthly prescription does not generate revenue for the "Dr.," it goes with the job to do so. Yet each time I had to call (because they claimed the had not gotten the fax from my QFC pharmacy), I felt as though I was a huge burden to the office. Was Deonne competent? I think so. I did not feel unsafe there. She was quite thorough in her exams and testing, but I felt that all of the follow-up appointments she required were simply so she could bill my insurance for another office visit. It must be difficult for such a small office to make it financially, especially since they are only in the office on Mon/Wed/Fri, but only providing good service when there is potential gain may be one of the reasons that she isn't busy.And now it seems there website is not working... End Note: I found a new Dr,, and she was happy to call in six months worth of refills on my sleepy pill prscription after my new patient exam. No strings attached. :-)

The specialists all give her high marks and she is recognized as a skilled, learned professional. I have been her patient for over 4 years. She takes care of my routine exams and those sessions that require deeper research. When I complained about a constant, persistent pain, she believed me. Even though nothing could be found on Cat scans or MRIs. She sent me to a specialist because she believed and I wound up having emergency surgery. When I had an aneurysm 2 years ago, the emergency doctors wanted to know my medications. My friends placed a call and within an hour she had called back and they knew my list of medications and what they were for. She is a very nice lady because the first time I met her, I was mean and ugly during a manic phase of my Bi-polar illness. When I saw her a year later, she was a class act and never mentioned that incident. Because she does have a small practice, I can always get an appointment. "Dr. Deonne" is the Best. She will continue to be my Primary Care Provider.

Seamar, ths, sound mental, abh, downtown public health. They all suck! This place was appalling. Not the worst but bad. All they do is try to sympathize with you by disingenuous coddling someone in attempt to over emphasize some sort of compassion. But it all sounds fake and not therapeutic. I mention that this is the second therapist I've had to go through because the first one was straight garbage. She basically try to gaslight me and try to manipulate me, and in little stupid ways that are trivial but this they sent me back to some dark places so I had to go just like she was trying to control the situation and she was willing to do that anyway just to do that all right but like I said, there's nothing really that effective that you're doing by just talking to somebody in the way you talk to a baby His voice was so soft like I couldn't even understand what you're saying is half the time it's really hard to want to go to these stupid meetings because nothing is done and literally there's about maybe like an hour long meeting about 15 minutes of that is actual dialogue. The rest is just like Just wasted time I'm really just at a loss right now I don't know where to go what to do with myself there's nobody they can help me. I feel like all these people are just giving me false sense of hope through all this is been clear that I need disability. In order to find effective care that's in my my range I'm low income, but trying to get any of these jokers to do their job or try to be willing to assist me or even just like a rider assessment it's like pulling teeth like it's like asking for their their left arm they don't they don't want to be obligated and they don't want to be in a situation where they could potentially be asked by a judge to defend their statements. I don't know what that means if they don't believe in my case, or if they just are just lazy and they don't wanna do their jobs or if they just are in a culture now where everyone is trying to get by with doing as little as possible every day and just a negative culture within the practitioner field not necessarily the patients but it just makes people feel as if you guys don't take a serious as patience and it makes me feel like I have a deep level. Miss trust now before you guys I think you guys are all just a bunch of jokers because none of you have taken your job Serious. One hour once a month? How is that supposed to do anything when I just said 15 minutes of those dialogues I'm literally spending 15 minutes with you guys for nothing. Nothing gets done in 15 minutes or 30 minutes or 45 minutes or an hour it doesn't happen in an hour and it doesn't help. I just fucking sitting here bitching to you about stuff, all it does is make me reexperience prior events and to have you guys simply just do that kind of nurturing and a grown adult mentality just makes me feel like you're just treating me like a child and it's like some sort of rudimentary thing that I was supposed to be getting or just because you guys lack social perspective you have no ability to take yourself outside of your own shoes and put yourself into the position and somebody in front of you. You lack those fundamental skills needed to be in the field. I straight up would not be surprised. If a lot of these people are faking their documents, their credentials because a lot of them just have zero intellect in this field they they take the skills that they learn and then they just start taking things personal and they start incorporating their own beliefs and mis conceptions and injected into their care plan. I'm just over this human aware people are on the street doing drugs and going crazy because you guys you're the reason why because you guys are failing and you don't give a shit, so just quit your job. Just quit your job and go become a baker or a fireman or something I don't give a shit but you guys fucking suck and you fucking making people kill them selves and you're making people overdose and you're making people relapse and you're making people go crazy because they're putting their faith in you and they fucking in return. We're getting nothing back so thank you so much for failing at your job and thinking that dismissing people is just gonna make a little affect on somebody.
