In the middle of the shopping Centre you have a few statues and seating to rest your tired feet, or for your loved one to wait while you shop. On the top floor you have Argos and Ealing Central Library. On the ground floor mostly chains and the odd cheap non chain shop basically everything I mentioned above, plus Tesco's. I really like their Primark, I would say its on the level of Oxford street but without the crazy crowds. Ealing Broadway Centre is on the Uxbridge road so its convenient to get to, because all the buses pass their plus you have the Ealing Broadway station which is a 10minutes away. They also have their own car park as well. The shopping Centre is good for the locals, but I would not go out of my way here, because you can get majority of the stuff where you live, (I lived in Harrow at the time). I wished i tried some of the independent shops more....its a good shopping Centre and does the job.

Check out the website: it's quite useful, and lists all the shops. The usual necessities are there, including newly renovated Boots, M&S, Waterstones, and a relatively new Tesco Metro. Primark is currently building a new shop here and will finish early this summer, replacing a Beales that is now gone. The nice thing about this mall is that it's partly outside. Most hallways open directly to the outdoors rather than having closing doors. While this means its not quite a fully-heated refuge in winter, it makes it more an integrated part of the stroll through Ealing than a hermetically-sealed environment. The central courtyard is open to the sky which makes it nice when they have craft stalls or summer concerts there. Many of the shops face outwards from the building as well, or are in passages that lead out to the street. The bad thing about the open-air aspects of the mall is that people can still smoke in here. There's an Early Learning Centre (ELC) that makes great educational and interactive toys for kids. There also a Fat Face clothing store that appeals to my Canadian/comfortable/lumberjack side. The rear mall entrance does have glass doors, and these seem to get broken, cracked, or become non-functioning with disappointing frequency, and to be fixed with disappointingly slow speed. I feel that the choice of men's clothing on offer isn't great. And those who are used to hundreds of shops (a la Oxford Street) may find it limited. But if you're not looking for anything too unusual you'll probably find it here.

The last time I went there, I was buying some shoes an lingerie, lingerie was not a problem but I needed some help in the shoe section, not a single member of staff available on the whole floor to help, so I ended up buying just one pair as opposed to 2 that I wanted to purchase. When I then went to pay there was only one cashier behind the tills and 8 people ahead of me, the cashier kept ringing her bell for a good 15-20 minutes to call for more staff and no one came for over 20 minutes and then two people arrived at the same time and did not seem at all bothered when the other cashier said she'd been calling them for ages. At least 4 people who were behind me left the items they wanted to buy and walked out of the store, this is a sure fire way to lose business, this was around 6pm, people were saying they had just popped in for a quick shop after work and had trains to catch from Ealing Broadway. I never used to have any complaints with the level of service once I'd actually managed to get served but even that seems to have gone downhil of late, what a shame! The quality of the items for sale can't be faulted whether it be clothing, shoes, lingerie, food, drinks, household items, gifts, etc, but the queues really need to move faster. The sales can be fantastic with some really good bargains too! This level of service is not acceptable and I'm sad that this once fabulous store which I always felt had fanstastic customer service has sunk this low. I used to go to M&S at least twice a month and now I visit every other month only. And they wonder why business is down?! Management really need to improve service levels or lose more customers. When you have half an hour for lunch, you really don't want to queue for 20 minutes to get a sandwich!

Still, try as I do, and I do try, I can never find anything to spend my money on in this House of Fraser. I don't think that it helps that the old girl is looking a little tired, and rough around the edges. A lick of paint on the outside to spruce it up a bit wouldn't go amiss either. I suppose I have been spoilt by the genius of Selfridges, but I do come to expect a bit of sparkle in order for me to part with my hard earned money. If there is anywhere that I will spend my cash, it is at the makeup counter, but alas, there was no Mac here (travesty!), and so I moved onto the other floors. To be fair, there are quite a few women's labels that I like the look of, like 7 For All Mankind, Diesel and All Saints, but generally, I was a little uninspired. I don't want to come across as a permanently disgruntled shopper, but I like to see a little theatre to my department stores. Good lighting and well thought out decor can make all the difference to a shoppers experience. I think that they need to have a bit of a refurb here before I think about switching my allegiance from Selfridges.

Here it was just downright rude! I am amazed at the lack of professionalism of the sales girl there. I went in there today to buy a bronzer and of course headed to the Lancôme counter as their bronzer has been featured in some magazines and I wanted to try it. So for starters, I asked her to try the bronzer on my face so she just handed me the mirror and walked away. Then, after trying the colour on my face, I tried to see if I can apply it with the brush and the salesgirl almost shouted at me that I was doing it wrong! OMG! Aren't they supposed to apply it and help you? I asked her very politely would she show me how to apply it so she grabbed it from me and applied it on her hand, looking very annoyed! Oh and walked off! This was a classic example of good product not being sold because of a bad salesgirl! After a good experience at their Chanel counter, this was a shock. Never going to Lancôme there again!

Okay so it might be last season's stuff but for people like me who shop for what suits them rather than what's in style, it's a great place to pick up good quality, well cut clothes for much less than high street prices. And it's not just clothes. They also have a home section where you can get beautiful home decoration items at a fraction of the price. Not to mention more basic items like sheets, kitchenware, duvets, serving plates etc. They also have a wide selection of toys and boxes of chocolates at discounts - very handy for gifts.

Even then, both of these shops are not the best branches- the Mc Donald's feels like a crowded cellar at times and the TK Maxx doesn't have the best range of clothing. Having said that, there are some lesser-known, budget shops in here, so it may be worth having a visit once in a while, but usually the place is quiet, and for a good reason.

It opened towards the end of 2013 yet still feels modern. The stores located here like any Outlet can be hit or miss depending on the season and how lucky you can get, but there is a good selection of brands including Boss, Calvin Klein and Marks and Spencer. There's a large amount of places to eat and drink here too, as there is around Wembley as a whole. LDO also features a Cineworld Cinema. PRO TIP: Use the tube if coming here as Wembley Park Underground Station is only a short walk away, parking is expensive and on an event day, you'll be paying a flat rate and spending hours getting out of the car park. Overall, it's a cool location to grab a bite to eat or shop, especially on a non-event-day, walking around the mall, you can also see the iconic Wembley Stadium arch. 4*

Full of the name brand stores as well as a few mom and pop stores as well. There's also a gym, apartments, an awesome food court, and more. The food court is much better than your average mall food court. The options are restaurant quality and plenty of options. Awesome place to buy whatever you need or just to grab a meal.

The Westfield mall is big and can get overwhelming. It has a great selections of stores.read more
