It's the older kind of charging system, which does not really have capacity to be full. Plus, if you come here on a weekend, or on any Sunday specifically, everything around it is going to be closed and there's nothing to do. There's no restaurants no bathrooms no facilities of any kind. That will explain the trash all over the place and the urine smell because people have been peeing all over the fence. Overall it's a neat location on Route 66, but the set up is pretty terrible. This is probably the worst charger I've been to.

The food variety isn't different, I don't think from other Hilton hotels, but the separation and presentation at Tru was brilliant. No lines, lots of hot and cold options and lots of areas to enjoy breakfast. I also liked the gaming area, along with the seating and lounging options in other areas. We have two pets and were able to bring both for the same fee. Nice. Dog bags and receptacles were available. Also convenient. One last appreciation - their black out curtains are amazing. Every hotel should use these versus the curtain type that always leave odd gaps. Thank you for this thoughtful upgrade. We didn't make it to the fitness center or pool, but I imagine these spaces would have been just as nice as all the others. My only request would be colder rooms. We immediately set our thermostat to as low as it would go, 60 or so. I'm not sure we ever got there. I slept warm but not hot, so some room for improvement there. Not a deal breaker though. So naturally, when I got the news that I was going to be spending almost 4 months in Altus, I quickly put in my request for a room. And let me tell you, my experience was far better than I ever imagined. Mike and Skylar are absolutely phenomenal landlords. They made the process of booking a room with them super easy. They were always quick with their responses if you had any questions and were quick to fix any problems if they came up with the house. While I was there they were making upgrades to the house and doing some small renovations to make sure we were getting the best experience possible. Not only that but they were there for any questions you had on life after Altus if you needed it as well. Crystal, the cleaning lady, comes once a week to make the place look like new. I had heard of other crash pads having issues with their cleaning lady but never with Crystal. Lastly, The Bat Cave will give you the opportunity to create friendships that you'll carry with you throughout your entire career. Didn't matter if you were a KC-135 guy or a C-17 guy, if you were at The Bat Cave you were one of the bros. Couldn't have asked for a better group of dudes then the ones I got the chance to live with while I was there. So if you're looking for a place to stay, the search stops here. The Bat Cave is the place to be.
