Sam and I discuseed the the haircut and I like his calm and exposed way of explaining and how he could work something out of my beard and bald head. Knowing that my Adonis period is long overdue, I admit I'm very satisfied with the result, so I went back and book new appointments. The result is nice to see, still women are not turning immediately their head, but I guess it has something to do with my age and not with the haircut. Sam is not only a professional, he is an artist, calm and with the eye of the master controlling constantly his work. Working constantly, he stil is able to show some empathy, talking about his homecountry, hair fashion in the Middle East, with the Druze, Greek, Cyprus, etc. No political statements, just historical chatting, no pressure and also good listening. The salon is nice and clean, proper equipment, each his own set. The barbershop runs smoothly without a hair in the butter. As long as I'm in St Louis and receives the same service, Sam will see me back.

I was seven minutes late, and even after apologizing both by text and in…read moreperson, the barber still seemed pissed like I disrupted his entire day, despite the salon being completely empty. Once I sat down, I showed him a picture of the haircut I wanted. He mentioned that product would be needed to achieve the texture, which I acknowledged. I told him to just try his best. After he was done the result looked NOTHING like the picture I showed him, I asked him about it. Bro was triggered so bad and started throwing these at me: "This is a professional salon not a kids salon go to your old barber" "I have plenty of WashU clients" "Zip it" WHEN I WAS SAYING NOTHING and the best one yet "never come back again I don't want to see your face" On top of that, he got irritated that I was occasionally looking in the mirror and at my phone to check on the process as if monitoring your own haircut is somehow offensive. At the end, he applied some powder to shape my haircut and to be honest this was not a super terrible haircut, although I thought my curtains could be more choppy like in the picture. However, I think my stylist lacks basic respect and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone who expects to be treated with basic decency. Also, as my barber mentioned, the salon has a camera so if the owner sees this, feel free to check if this review is real(ensure nothing is edited out of context/no manipulative or deceptive editing).
