Unfortunately, the power had gone out, the doors were locked, and Travis and Jodi were heading home. When they learned how far we'd traveled and why we had come, they asked if we had cash, turned around, reopened the brewery just for us, and served us anyway. That simple act of kindness transformed what could have been a huge disappointment into the highlight of our day. The beer was outstanding, but what we'll remember most is the genuine hospitality and generosity we experienced. Travis and Jodi, thank you for going above and beyond for complete strangers. This was a must visit for my wife and I during our Maine route 1 trip. The taproom is more rustic with tables and a bar with a couple seats. Due to needing to head back early we only sampled their cream ale and Mexican lager, both were pretty solid. Definitely seems to be a spot for locals as their place to grab a drink after work.
