After arriving in Tadoussac, yesterday, Pooh and I came here for a few beers and some lunch. The beers were delicious!! We each had the 4-beer sample plateau but the lunch was nothing special. The menu was sparse and half of the items on it were not available so we had a liquid lunch with a plate of fries. We went back today, after whale watching (which was fantastic) and got a few cans to drink later.

Walk in and immediately you are greeted with a nice warmth and the smell of fresh popcorn. There are games and the feel of the place is incredible, with a gorgeous view to match. The selection of beers is absolutely amazing. I don't even drink beer but I was so tempted by both his descriptions and the passion in which they were all explained, that I ordered the flight to share. My wife and I enjoyed the Poutine for a late Lunch, and added the sausage! it was excellent! Portions were very good too! Well worth the trip from Southern Ontario! read more
We had low expectations for this place. This is a very touristy area and this restaurant is right in the middle of it. It is in a beautiful setting near the water. We took advantage of that and ate outside near the street and the water. Although our waitress was bilingual, she was a bit uncomfortable with us. She did relate better to the much younger couple who spoke English near us. We both ordered an IPA and began to decipher the French menu. Note that the food here is pub food, not a full lunch. My wife ordered the smoked mussels and French bread, and I ordered the smoked herring and French bread. Both came fairly rapidly. The French bread was warm and the mussels and herring were served in a Quebec style marinade infused with spices. We both thought they were excellent. The bread was also excellent. We would definitely return to this restaurant. read more
BOTTOM LINE: Brew-tastic! For a small operation, I was surprised to find that they brewed so many kinds of beers: 15 on their tap menu alone! They tended to be various ales, IPAs, and light beers (perfect for the summer!), though I was pleasantly surprised by their Belgian Triple, which was quite sweet and malty. I found the Toupie IPA sharp, their Ponton Pilsner refreshing, but their Pale (wh)Ale having a somewhat unpleasant aftertaste. Though it looks pretty small on the outside, they can deceptively seat quite a lot of customers so the wait never felt too long. The staff were friendly. I didn't try anything off the menu, but according to other reviews, and even the staff themselves, it sounds like you should really stick to a liquid diet here. read more

We stopped by on our way to some local hiking and were pleasantly surprised at the wide range of beers on offer. They also sell some comfort foods to make it a lunch. The location is excellent with views of the river and local people watching. We couldn't stay but it looked inviting nonetheless. You can pick up cans to go (as we did). read more

Despite what other reviewers say, I did not find the portions generous at all. We paid $45 for everything you see in the photo. The beer was excellent and I would come here just for that. It seems like the food is an after thought. For the price, I would have expected at least a salad or some sort of side with the meals. Don't get me wrong, the food was delicious, just lacking a bit. Staff was very nice though, and respected the COVID-19 guidelines. read more
