TL;DR They melted a hole into my suit jacket and refused to pay for it. I was a long-time customer of Teton Cleaners, but I took my clothed to the dry cleaners on 17th street. Probably went there for nearly 15 years. After they closed down the 17th street location, I took a nearly brand new suit in for a cleaning at the 1st street location. When I first walked in, I was unimpressed with how the place looked. Dirty, door slams closed without slowing, staff seemed unimpressive. I should have gone with my gut and walked right out and found a new dry cleaner but I decided to stay loyal. I picked up the suit, days later than they promised it because they had 'equipment issues.' Then the suit jacket sat in the plastic in my closet for a few weeks while I got a hem repaired on the pants. Then I finally had a chance to wear the suit. I pulled it out of the plastic and there was a big hole melted into it. I brought it back to them, confident that they would replace the suit jacket based on their promise of integrity and honesty from their website. They took the jacket, and promised a phone call that evening from the owner. Days later I had to call in myself to check on the progress. I was talked over, shouted down, and hung up on. He claimed the hole was 'definitely a cigarette burn' and said I did it myself and they weren't responsible. No integrity, no honesty, no responsibility. I guess that they would rather lose my business, and the business of anyone I can convince to go elsewhere than take some responsibility and replace a suit jacket. read more

I gave this place several chances, but they fumbled the ball each time. Horrible customer service as most employees don't know what they are doing and don't care. They constantly had to call the owner to figure out what to do. They ruined shirts and refused to take responsibility. One time they pressed my shirts before cleaning them. One time they could not get their credit card processor to work and so they would not give me my clothes. Unbelievable. read more

Ok so I took stars away only because I dont seem to understand how you have a laundromat full of washers and dryers and yet you only have 3 working washers and maybe 5 to 6 dryers that you can use. I was there about a week ago and they didn't even have hot water running into the washer so I ended up just going down the street to different laundromat. This is by far THE WORST place to take your clothing unless of course you are taking the long route to the dumpster. I HAD 3 suites (each over $1000 when purchased) that were burned, the pant crease was completely wrong and had extra grease stains that were NOT there when we dropped them off. When we went back to complain and get it fixed the guy had locked up early and laughed at us when we said (through the door) we needed to make a complaint. Places like this need to either fix the problem or buy us the clothing new again. I can't believe they get away with stuff like this and find it amusing when they mess up. read more

I dropped my winter coat to have the zipper replace. Was told the cost would be $25.00 not a problem..was told the coat would be done in a week. Not a problem. Went to pick up the coat a week later it was not ready. No problem. Went in week two to pick up the coat nope not ready. Went in week 3 still no coat. Week four now I am upset still no coat, get a call hey we found your coat. They were looking under the last name with an E not an A oops sorry. Get my coat home it has GOLD Zipper on a silver trimmed silver zipper coat. Called wanted to speak with a manager the manager only works until 1pm. Finally got ahold of the manager they will not honor the $25.00 price but say bring it in and I will send it back and have a silver zip put in it and their should not be a charge ....are you kidding me, there had better not be a charge. It made me pick a Star other wise it would not have any. read more

These guys are quick and clean, no pun intended! I have gone here for years, they have several locations, I actually use their location on 17th street, because it's closer to me. The staff are positive and I have never had an item cleaned that I wasn't satisfied with. Always done by the next day for simple things or a couple of days for more intense cleaning. This was my first time visiting the location in Ammon on 17th. It is near my home and is very convenient for me. I decided to give them a try. The man working was very unfriendly and unprofessional in the way he spoke to me. He seemed annoyed that I even walked through the door. He was very snappy. I kindly advised him that I would be taking my business elsewhere. I cannot comment on the quality of their work since I refused to leave my items there. Ruined a blouse and doesn't seem like items brought in were cleaned. A silk blouse had frill trim that got frayed; still creases in the blouse where I tucked it in the last time I wore it! Two wool sweaters smell uncleaned (hey I sweat...which is how I have a basis of comparison: these sweaters have been properly cleaned several times elsewhere!) and were still unshaped from my having worn them last and pilly ( places I've gone in the past have always de-pill.) one dress they couldn't clean because they thought it might bleed. I was a little miffed because it has been cleaned before elsewhere, but that was probably the only considerate/lucky circumstance of this visit. read more

The drop off location in Ammon on 17th street is terrible. The staff is very unfriendly and it always smells strongly of cigarettes. They only do an okay job cleaning the clothes. I was only going there because it was close but this store has completely turned me off. Get friendlier staff that doesn't make make the place smell like a dumpster and I would consider being a customer. read more

Absolutely awful, my fiancé took his light blue suit into the 17th street location. They gave it back with large water stains all over the jacket and pants. They claimed it was stains from the inside lifting to the outside, but that is impossible seeing as how my fiancé has barely worn the suit and has had it for less than a year. They tried to clean it again but it was pointless because they gave it back the same as before. When trying to get into contact with the manager she was never around! It is now a month later and we finally got her to look at the suit. She attempted to get the stains out, and called claiming she was able to lift them. When my fiancé went to get it he saw that that wasn't the case. The cleaners is responsible for replacing the entire suit, but now are refusing to pay the full price to replace it. Less than $100? NO! I wouldn't recommend these people. They are not helpful, they are not honest, and they are more than likely going to ruin your things.DO NOT GO HERE! read more

Don't waste your money. I've taken my suits and shirts to this location and also the location on East 17th street out of convenience. I'll never spend another dime here. I had some simple smudges and "drool" spots from my kids climbing on me at church. Figured it was time to have everything dry cleaned, assuming it would get cleaner than I could ever get them. When I got them back, I pointed out that the same basic stains were still there. They said nothing they tried worked and that it was as clean as it would ever get. Went home and used a bit of dish soap on it and Presto! Clean. Just crap. Take your stuff somewhere else, you'll be glad you did. read more

I came here with my mother in law to help her with laundry. We got there and EVERYTHING was out of order and broken. I had my two year old and he was playing with cars on the floor and he started screaming so I went over and there was TONS of ants on the floor. They were everywhere. I would think that somewhere that you do laundry would be clean but this place was NASY. read more

They are terrible! Brought in my husband's suits, only to receive two pair of ruined slacks when they were returned. I brought them into the Rexburg facility but apparently everything is sent to the Idaho falls location so I'm sure my review applies to both places. When I talked to the general manager (Lynn) she didn't even apologize for ruining $600 worth of suits. Don't go there! read more

I have used Teton Cleaners in the past for various needs. I have felt that they were priced fairly......that is until last week. I had 17 table cloths that needed to be laundered. The employee told me that the price had been increased recently for these. I was told that the total would be $289 or $17/each! I decided to shop around as the cost to launder them was more than double the cost of purchasing new ones. A local competitor was happy to help. 1st Street Wash & Dry had them ready the next day, threw in a free carry bag and charged me $30. read more
