My husband and I purchased a beautiful fifth wheel from Rodger in September 2017. We had such a great experience with Texas Best RV while in the buying process. Gave Roger a $20,000 check for a deposit on a $20,000 rig on August 6th. He wouldn't take a thousand ot two, which was suspicious, but I "trusted" him enough. 4 months later...no rig...he has called me a total of ZERO times. Everytime I called it was a parts issue with this or that or some other BS. Meanwhile the rig I put the deposit on is rotting on the back 40! I asked for my deposit back, I no longer want the coach and cannot trust him. He said he does alot of online business. If you can't trust a man to perform in person, how can you expect that online. RV's are everywhere....his aren't that special to deal with all this. read more

One year later and I'm back to report we are beyond happy with our experience with Roger and Texas Best RV! After spending 3 months on the road with our motorhome, we had a list of questions, concerns and fixed that needed to be done. Roger and Tony were always there for us, and made sure everything on our list was addressed and taken care of. Yelp doesnt allow for negative stars. Flew in from out of state to look at an RV listed as "A nicer RV does not exist". After a few calls to confirm, I made the trip to purchase. Personal inspection showed tires listed as new worn and in fact coming apart on the one of the drive wheels. Reported as being stored inside showing fiberglass cracking which is due to being stored outside in the heat. Alignment pulling to the right. Frozen water line leading to the ice maker. Main slide making drive noises that he reported as good due to tight seals. Holes in the awning, windwhield star the side of a plum. Beware buyer. read more

I was intending to fly there to look at a diesel pusher they have. After contacting them twice, through their website, I have never received a response. This is a strong indication that I shouldn't buy a coach from them. If they won't respond to inquiries for purchase, it's likely they won't respond after a purchase. read more

My wife and I decided to invest in our 1st home. We decided that the RV lifestyle would fit us just right, so we searched online and found exactly what we liked. We called Roger and talked very briefly about the RV we liked, 2014 Bayhill 340RK. Roger was very straight up. He didn't give me any fluff. He simply let me know that he isn't in the business to lie about a product. I was a little skeptical at first, but I trusted him over the phone for some reason. Next few days, we show up at the RV lot with check in hand to get our RV and we HOPE my gut feeling to trust Roger was accurate. Once we got there we meet a man named Tony and he was freakin awesome. He was the maintenance man that introduced us to our RV and showed us everything we needed to know about it and answered all of our questions. He was very knowable about our RV and did his best to show he was there to ensure we felt 100% comfortable before we made the purchase. Then Roger came outside and come to find out he was a real gentlemen. He has retired twice already so obviously he isn't in the business to sell to get by. Roger is just a working man and needs something to do. He was a good guy that made me and my wife feel good about our purchase. I recommend these guys if your looking to buy your next RV. read more

Zero Stars from me. I called Roger on an RV listed and told him I lived 3 1/2 hours away. I told him that I was already approved for a loan and that I wanted to come see it. I drove to the dealership (3 1/2 Hours one way) to look at it. Dead batteries and nothing worked. No offer to jump start it, put in a new battery, anything. He spent a total of 10 minutes and acted as if I was putting him out. I left and came home. I called my Credit Union and had the loan drawn up by 3:30 that day. Roger wanted me to pay him before he would do anything and that I should take his word that everything would be in working order. Again, Roger acted as if I am doing him a favor and how dare I want to see it in working order before I pay. He said he had plenty of other people that were waiting to buy it. I then told him to sell it to someone else. I understand that the RV industry may work a bit differently then buying a car, but I don't think a business the sells "The Best RV's" should have an advertised unit that doesn't even work. If you are a first time buyer of even a seasoned RVer, do your self a favor and skip this business. Its clear he does not care about anyone else except for himself. read more
