The new coaches Mark and Zach will be with TRA for a long time and they've shown their professionalism along with their amazing coaching talents and skills. In that time, she lost a lot of upper body strength and gained some fear plus lost some confidence in doing certain things. We started at the Mineola location and were blown away by the coaching staff. Within 3 classes my daughter was back to speed on things. She loves gymnastics and wants to go every single day. Coach Sam (Samantha) is amazing. She is so good with the kids and is so consistent. I have also noticed that after every class my daughter knows what they will be doing on the next class which tells me she is a planner and she truly cares about being a coach. We love the other two locations but this one was incredibly disappointing for their lack of cleanliness. Toddler time is a great opportunity for little ones to expel energy and UE offers that. However, I don't feel it is sanitary at all especially for the young ages that are there. They have chemical bottles just laying around that can easily get into the wrong hands. They had garbage laying around on and by the gym mats, even though it clearly says not to bring food in there ppl don't always listen. There was a staff member "working" but she was just sitting on a mat the entire hour and lots of rules were broken without care (shoes being worn, etc). There has been a broken light for quite some time and it's also a safety concern where the bulb flashes like a stobe. This can be extremely harmful to someone who has epilepsy and isn't a precaution that people aware about before they enter, nor is it something that they have fixed and has been like that for quite some time. There is chalk everywhere which is a given for gymnastics but this is so much then I have ever seen elsewhere and an asthmatic they can feel it in their lungs and you just see the dust in the air which is not good to breathe in. It honestly doesn't look like this place is cleaned even tho there are full chemical bottles just laying around. It just felt very unsanitary and gross. In comparison to the other locations in town, this one is disappointing to see their lack of care and attention. There really isn't an excuse for that neglect.

This is a great place! My family has been attending for several years and what a difference it has…read moremade! I love watching my kids outperform "normal" kids on the playground or in their sports. My kids constantly get compliments on their athletic ability. That edge is there because of gymnastics. They get full credit for our success. The coaches are awesome and knowledgeable. The environment is safe and clean. The rates are reasonable and completely worth it. In the beginning, this interaction really helped their socialization and listening skills. They also serve all ages, including us adults! I make a 45 min drive because I like this gym so much.

Most of the "instructors" are teens or young women with no strong background in being gymnasts themselves. 3. No specialization. It's just floor/cheer moves. No beam, parallel bars, or vault. They went so far as to "partner" with some gym in Texarkanas to provide them. Lol, then we all might as well just go to that gym and be done with it. 4. The worst--wayyyyy too much small town nonsense, cliques, agendas, lack of respect (thinks way too much of herself, ego, attitude), passive aggressive baloney. This is a really great "small gym." I needed a gym to rent out for a few hours a day for my team…read more The owner Marisa is so sweet and helpful. The gym fits about 7 panel mats (2 short) but it's enough to to get full specialty passes in if you just do a two step hurdle. They have garage doors so when it's nice out you can open them up for air flow. They also have those huge industrial fans to cool the place off when it's hot. There is one wall of full mirrors so your athletes are able to watch themselves as they practice. Currently they have a non spring floor, which I personally think is awesome. I train my athletes without spring so they're used to working as opposed to relying on the springs to do the work. After meeting the owner, another coach (Billie), and spending some time at the facility, I would definitely recommend coming here for any of your cheer needs.
