We terminated the contract after the demand for more money and hired another roofing company because we had a deadline by which if the roof was not done or homeowners insurance company would cancel our policy. Skyline was unable to meet the deadline without more money from us because, we believe, they spent our deposit money on Other, unrelated expenses. In a written and signed settlement contract, Skyline agreed to refund our deposit in four payments. Skyline made one payment and miss the next one that was due, thereby notifying the agreement. We are planning to file suit this week.
