They had bad attitudes, and I was so glad when they left. Not one polite guy in the group. Even woke up my new neighbor with all their laughing and horse play. I have used them once before and they were nice, hard working young people. Very fast and didn't have to be told what to do. This crew was not like that. You live and you learn. I heard lots of breaking glass so I am sure my stemware is all broken. I would not recommend using them. I don't know if Victoria has any good movers.

I could not have found a better team. From the day of the initial walk-through and bid to completion the team was professional, courteous, educational when needed, excellent communicators. They not only bring expertise they also bring integrity. They truly treat the job as if it was their own home. They removed/replaced old drywall, painted, remodeled down to the studs in some areas to expand the space as much as possible, replaced flooring, repaired poor plumbing from previous job, completely gutted and rebuilt the bathroom, replaced/repaired windows and doors. I was living and working in the house at the time, and they did an excellent job of minimizing disruptions. I was as informed as I needed to be - no more, no less. I would recommend them to everyone. Mr. Santos Gomez and his crews took wonderful care of the original longleaf pine floors and wooden walls. They repaired and patched all of the wood, feathering it in with reclaimed old pine that they sourced locally. They painted the walls, and restored and polyurethaned the old floors. Thoughtful work, completed on schedule, for reasonable pricing. The only (small) cost overrun was because some of the wood patching was more extensive than anticipated, and Mr. Gomez communicated with us clearly when that happened. The crews and Mr. Gomez were very kind, efficient, and helpful-- a joy to be around. The farmhouse is now beautiful and authentic. We definitely will call Mr. Gomez for our next job. We were very patient, and he is now over a month behind his deadline so we finally asked for a refund and he is no longer responding to our calls/texts. There was a very specific itemized list of repairs that were supposed to be made and after he fell 3 weeks behind he said he needed more money for labor and materials after we paid him over $8,000. One of the items on the list included replacing flooring, and he left us with torn up carpeting but never bought the materials nor installed the new flooring so we are forced to hire another contractor putting us in a huge financial bind. Rick is extremely unprofessional and continued to give us excuses about why he could not finish the job we paid him for until he finally stopped responding half way through the job. Do yourself a favor and do not go with him despite his estimate being lower than others, he will ask for more money later or just take your money and not finish the work. We are now going through small claims court to get our refund. Also, on his website he makes it appear that he is licensed by asking readers "Looking for a licensed General Contractor?" But when we tried to verify this through Texas department of licensing, no record could be found under his company nor his name.
