I originally went to class here to get my phlebotomy certification. After I had completed the course, I signed up for the IV course. I paid for the course and then never heard back from them again. I sent emails but no replies. I tried calling them, but it always went to voicemail. They sure were able to call me multiple times when they originally sent an invoice for me to pay for the course. Very disappointed in this "school." I agree with other reviews. You should go to TCC or another community college to get your phlebotomy certification. It is through an accredited college that will be able to back up their certifications. ***Update***: They still never got in contact with me, so I had to take them to court for them to refund me my money. The CEO of the company was a rude man in court, even to the judge. The court made judgement in my favor and required the company to refund me the total amount I paid. CAUTION! This place...DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS "CERTIFICATION". They are a full on scam. I paid part of my tuition on April 19 to start the class on the 20th...because I could not give them my high school...not college, mind you...transcripts before the day I started, asking them to give me another day to get them and getting a refusal.They have repeatedly been called and when I do happen to get in touch with someone they have told me that my refund is still pending...after 2 months. Sixty days to reimburse for tuition not used? Nope. Go somewhere else. Still have not gotten my money back but they sure want to know if I want in on their next class, and somehow I bet that money would be easily transferred over. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. read more

THIS PLACE IS A SCAM !!! Anytime i have called them i struggled to reach a real person. I all their phone numbers end up at this voicemail, where you never get a call back. This should have been a warning to me, but I needed my certification quickly for my job. I signed up and paid for a class on Saturday. After taking off from my weekend job to attend, driving from Dallas to Mansfield early on a Saturday, I arrive to locked doors. Other people who were hoping to attend the class were waiting in the front with me. We waited for 1.5 hours before leaving. We called and called, left voicemails, sent emails, still have not heard anything back. THEY TOOK MY MONEY AND RAN. The worst part is I still need my certification for work, and I have to explain this weird situation to my boss. read more

Amazing school with amazing experiences! Mrs.Rawls is a wonderful instructor and experienced phlebotomist, and made learning so much fun. Mansfield Location - First of all, I NEVER leave reviews. Second, if it wasn't for my most recent experience with this school, I would never had said anything at all. I went to school here last year, 2017. I passed my AMCA and have been certified for over a year and I have still yet to find a job as a phlebotomist. I have spoken to others that were my classmates at the time, and even they can agree that this was a waste of time. I recently applied for a position and every person I spoke to was EXTREMELY rude. That's how they were in 2017 and that's how they still are. As another person posted, we were always out of things. Band-aids, gauze, lancet needles, butterfly needles; the list goes on. The staff was always, and still is, extremely rude and unprofessional. For what you pay, and what you get out of this, not worth it at all. I would NEVER recommend this school to anyone. They claim to help with job placement and resumes etc. which is all a joke. If you don't have some sort of experience with phlebotomy or in the medical field, it's a complete waste of time. Most companies want an ASCP certified phlebotomist anyway and don't accept AMCA. The jobs that are listed on e-hired.com, 90% of them you won't be qualified for. Good to a different school, a better school. I regret getting my certification here. As someone mentioned before it is so hard to get a job. What i didnt realize until I started my job search is that almost all phlebotomy jobs want a different certification, not the AMCA which is what you can take after you graduate from here. This school doesn't do clinical hours so you can't even take the certification that all the actual jobs want. The only "job" I was able to find after months was entry level that didn't actually include any actual phlebotomy. If you just need to learn phlebotomy as supplemental to nursing school etc its totally fine but not if you actually want to enter the profession. read more

If I could give this business a negative star I would love to!!!! The regional director is the biggest b*tch I have ever had to deal with. Literally lost my 100 dollar deposit because the staff never refunded me my money back since they didn't have enough people joining their night class. What a joke of a business. Don't waste your time, go to tcc and get a phlebotomy certification instead. You're literally giving away 100 dollars If they can't accomidate to schedules. Building don't look professional first of all and they are non transferable, so are the credits. read more

My experience with the Texas School of Phlebotomy was great. The instructors are all very helpful and professional. The classes were fun and interesting. You will get plenty of hands on experience. Some classes practice sticking their first day. The staff will go over your resume and help you with your job search. I will definitely recommend this school. read more
