While most of it is done online in the comfort of your home, it was the warm welcome and easy feeling Brian gives you when you arrive for the "hands-on" portion of the training. I gotta tell you, right from the start, Brian and I hit it off great. We are both first responders, but that didn't matter. He was very approachable and easy to work with. He walked me through the course and the steps to take. I knocked it out and was on my way in less than 20 min. I would recommend this class and all of its course work to anyone looking to get involved in their community with C.E.R.T., anyone looking for a REAl merit badge with any scouts, or even to someone who wants to start their career in Fire & EMS. This could even help anyone who wants to be a life guard! Anyone from the 8th grade to someone in their 70's could take this class and it would be a huge benefit to them. Today we had the pleasure of attending a private class with Mrs.Jerri Haltom in DFW. Myself and a fellow coworker signed up for a BLS/Renewal Class for Healthcare Professionals. Mrs. Jerri was very knowledgeable on the latest BLS updates & guidelines. She was very thorough with demonstrating proper technique. She answered all of our questions, provided all the necessary reading & study materials. And ensured we were adequately prepared for the test to receive our BLS certification cards (American Heart Association Approved).
