I tried to call and advise what I'd found so that remedial action could be taken, but no one answered my call, and the voice mail was full, so I hung up. This scam has evidently been going on for some time because there is a picture of the request, dated in August of 2025, for payment on YELP. The one I received has a different format, but the content is basically the same -- send money -- and is dated April of 2026. BEWARE!

I confirmed the appointment via email and provided all the information she needed (address, phone numbers, etc.). My 83-year-old Dad got there on time and waited an hour and half for her to show and she was a total no-show. No call, text, email....nothing. I followed up to see what happened and she emailed me pretty quickly to say just she had a family emergency. Funny how she had time to email me when I reached out to her but not to let my parents know that she would not be showing up as promised to notarize their document....or even to apologize for missing the appointment.
