I love the fact that she doesn't make me do the air puff eye test. She puts up with me and my fear of eye doctors. Her entire staff is very courteous and welling to help when I come in. If it wasn't for the fact that my husband needs contacts each year, I probably wouldn't have found her. Basically, so far, so good. My wife and I have both had eye exams here, and they've both been smooth sailing (with the the exception of my terrible vision). She opted to try contacts for a few months, but ultimately came back to glasses recently. I had them replace the lenses for my sunglasses last year, and when they had an issue, they took care of it. Sorry for the length of this review, but there was so much that went wrong and so many excuses. My husband went in for a prescription for hard contacts. We were initially told one price ($150)but after the exam he was informed that it would cost $600 which he declined. Good thing they would have never gotten them done correctly. So he ended up paying an eye exam which he'll have to do again once he finds another eye dr. I also had an exam and ordered 3 pairs of glasses. 1. Sunglasses had to be sent back to the lab as the lens done incorrectly. 2. Glasses placed in wrong frame. 3. 3rd pair - lens were not done correctly had to be sent back to the lab. In addition to the poor workmanship their customer service was also lacking. From not calling as promised, to poor to non existent fittings when picking up the glasses. (However I have to give them some credit for being professional and courteous in our one on one encounters. ) The excuses I received included she no longer works here, the lab made the mistake and we're no longer doing business with them and lots of employee turnover, more training needed. All in all in took over a month to deliver all 3 pairs. And now I have to wonder if I received what I ordered as far as the lens are concerned and was the exam done correctly! Hey does anyone know of a place I can take these glasses to confirm that I got what I paid for? Lastly now their sending me text messages saying it's time for an eye exam. They don't appear to be able to do anything correctly. read more

The front desk staff are polite and customer oriented. Dr. Farrah is absolutely wonderful. She takes the time to ensure you understand every process and does her best to accommodate your needs. Had to make an emergency visit yesterday. The front desk staff was sooooo kind. They prefer appointments but was nice enough to allow me to drop in. I scratched my eye and was in a lot of pain. The doctor is very pretty, sorry I know that has nothing to do with the appointment. LOL. But anyway she was super nice. I purchased glasses for me and my husband in April, it has not been a year yet but my glasses got unhinged and his broke. I was told whenever we made the purchase that our glasses would be covered by a one year warranty at no cost to us should anything happen with in that year. Now I'm in their office and they are telling me something completely different from what was told to us. They want me to pay half price on the frames. Do not over pay to get told lies!!!! read more

I stopped by this TSO office as it was close to my home. I stopped by on a Saturday morning to make an appointment and to my surprise they were able to work me on as a walk in. The front desk staff could not have been more helpful or friendly. After completing my new patient paper work, I was taken back right away to have my eyes checked out. Dr. Faz came in shortly after and was very friendly and professional. She even asked my eight year old daughter to come in to the examination room, letting her assist with my examination by using the Dr's ipad mini to take pics of my eyes. My daughter loved this! The frame selection was very smooth and the technician really took extra time with me to ensure that I found a frame that I was comfortable with. I would highly recommend this TSO office for anyone that appreciates the extra time spent with a quality optometrist office. Be wary, after you make your purchase, you are handed a receipt that says no refunds or exchanges, so you are basically stuck with whatever you get. There is no sign in the store that warns you of this policy. In my case, I was sold a $700+ pair of glasses that didn't fit properly. I clearly made the sales person aware my priority was a proper fit, however, I was sold a pair of glasses that the fit was dependent on the thickness of the lense. I was not advised of this when I placed the order, even though fit was my biggest concern and I clearly let the sales person know fit was my priority. While the pair I tried in the store were comfortable, the actual pair I received were not. They did offer to try and make them a few centimeters bigger if I used a different lense shape. I declined, for that kind of money, that deal was not going to make me happy. Take a lense that you didn't pick out to gain maybe two centimeters, no thanks. I would rather keep the lense I liked. When I was told the reason the fit was different than the original pair I tried on was due to the thickness of my lense, I was livid that I was not advised of this upon purchase. No way would I risk $700+ on a unknown fitting. I tried to dispute the charges with my credit card company, after all, I did not get what I was sold, which was a comfortable fitting pair of glasses. Unfortunately, because the receipt had the no refunds disclaimer, I was out of luck. Very expensive lesson on my part, and I feel a very poor business practice on their part. Note to self, never order something from a business that has no refund policy. read more

It was time for me to get an eye exam and some new glasses. I wanted to use someone close by to where I live so decided to visit TSO on I-45 here in Spring. This place is very nice. Upscale furniture and decor in their office. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Dr. Faz as she likes to be called is incredibly nice and very professional. They take time to make sure everything is done right and you are completely happy. Although on the expensive side for similar places, it is worth it for the customer service they give and quality of the products. I highly recommend this business to anyone who needs an eye exam, glasses or contacts. They treat you like royalty here. read more

At first I like this place, it was close to home and they were supper quick the first time I went for an eye infection. Second time was for my routine eye exam, I was the first scheduled for that Saturday morning. I was taken to the exam room and asked the regular questions. I sat there for over 30 min thinking I was forgotten about. After the dr finally came in the exam was pretty thorough. After that I was taken to chose my new pair of glasses. I felt rushed by the person helping me chose a pair. Apparently a relative of hers was there as well looking to get the family discount. I felt like I was not being paid attention too and was not informed about the frame I chose. In the paying process she ended charging me about $60 extra. Overall the visit took two hours. Two weeks later I called to see if the glasses were ready and was told they would be ready until another day. Weekend passed by and I called again, this time I was told I had been sent a text to let me know they were ready (which I did not receive). I picked up glasses and wore them for a few days realizing I had picked the wrong ones because they were super uncomfortable. I went in the following week to exchange them. This new person informed that for my prescription I should have not have chosen a metal frame but a plastic (which I was not suggested too). The given turn around time is about 10-14 days, it has been 21 days since I have gone in and I still have not revived the new pair. I've called and gone in to the office and I've been told numerous excuses. First was "they are expected tomorrow (Tuesday)", second my husband called and he was told the tracking said they were out for delivery on Tuesday, third I went in on Wednesday and was told they have not been received yet that they are in route but they did not have a tracking number for them, Saturday I called and was told if they shipped Friday they should arrive by noon Saturday, and lastly I called today which is now a week after they were expected and was assured they should be there Thursday. Well folks sorry for the lengthy review!!! But I am far beyond frustrated with this office. I will definitely take my business elsewhere next time. read more
