They sent me a letter marked "Personal and Confidential". When you get a letter from a law firm marked "Personal and Confidential", it's supposed to be exactly that. But it wasn't, it was just a solicitation, with absolutely no personal or confidential information. The letter even started, "Dear Homeowner..." They lied in order to get me to open the envelope. I did, but once I saw they lied to me, why would I do business with them? Liars always get one star. ------------- RESPONSE TO REPLY BY THE OWNER: The owner's reply is both stupid and predictable. Let's break it down: (1) Never actually addressed the substance of my complaint, which is that THEY LIED in their sales material. It's the exact dodge you'd expect from a sleazy lawyer. (2) Fake apology. It wasn't, "We're sorry we did something wrong," it was, "We're sorry YOU FELT BAD about what we did." (3) They effectively said, "Other people aren't complaining, so there's something wrong with you, not us." It's not surprising that other people don't complain about the lie on the sales letter, when they know that the party they're complaining to or about won't take it seriously. Point proven. But in fact, other people *do* complain about other things regarding this firm. Before my review, a full 50% of reviews were negative. The owner didn't address that either--obviously. (4) "In the future, you or anyone else can also feel free to contact us directly to express your concerns." Why on earth would anyone do that, when the owner just showed how effectively he will blow off any concern that's brought to him? read more

After a long along standing and very expense relationship I have just learned that the Wiewel law firm has 2 1/2 stars. After today, I am not surprised. After a 5 minute meeting this morning I now know that Brad Wiewel doesn't care about his clients. In that meeting Brad told my fiance and myself to leave his building immediately because Melissa Donovan was upset for some reason. There was no offer to assist in any manner. Apparently, I couldn't answer her rudely delivered, rapid fire questions fast enough so she bullied me even more. Very shocking. In multiple emails I had told her I would need questions answered prior to delivering my new beneficiary list. I was not even allowed the courtesy of her reviewing the carefully put together question list we had made to simplify the conversation. read more

I've got mixed feelings about this review and I may or may not update it at a later date. First meeting, re-scheduled due to a family emergency... OK... I can deal with that. Second meeting, Guy walks in we sort of start getting organized and a gentleman walks in and apologizes for interrupting and asks to borrow him " for a minute". I wait about 20 min and leave. Pissed off my time seems to be of no value while the attorneys charge a pretty penny. (my father was an attorney, but that's another story.) I get a call finally around 20-25 min after I left... so I assume they did not return for 45 minutes or there about. My head would have exploded by then. Owner called and left a message, sincere apology AND offered 1.000.00 in free services. That is nice but honestly i know they can rack up 1000.00 pretty quickly if they want to. Not saying they would be unscrupulous like that but I am always skeptical about "discounts" companies offer. I'm on the fence about going back, they did apologize. I will update this if I go back and I don't think I will but if I do...I will let you know how the saga ends. read more

We just left the office of The Wiewel Law Firm. Prior to the appointment for estate planning we were sent a financial package to complete that was for a deceased person. We were reminded to bring that completed to this first visit. As we are a living married couple in need of two wills this form was not applicable. And not a great introduction. After waiting 30 minutes for the lawyer we left. A funding person did come into the room and did apologize for the incorrect form. She brought the correct one but no one retrieved it for 30 minutes. Not a good beginning. We will not use their services. read more

Recently, I had to handle my estate. My financial advisor recommended them. I did not remember them until I walked into in the office. By then it was too late to cancel. This time I worked with Ryan Roberts. Although there were issues he could not answer immediately, he researched each of them and answered all my numerous questions.
