He was kind enough to have 3 holistic providers shadow him the day that I arrived. I watched him graciously give consults, medical advice, iridology, acupuncture, and electroacupuncture to his patients. Bell's Palsy and pain seem to be the conditions that he is really good at treating. At the end of the visit, he gave me an iridology reading. Surprisingly, I didn't have a lot of gunk in my iris...as clear as the sky (if the sky was brown). In my defense, I had been religiously taking Chinese herbs before this exam so I'm sure the herbs cleared up a lot of junk from my eyeball. I did have a few black spots in my iris. They corresponded to kidney issues which is correct! I do have a family history of kidney disease. I learned so much from shadowing Dr. Chapa.
