I would strongly urge students who want to go to this newfound for your college, not go. It is discriminating. It is gender ism on how the way the students not only feel but how they have been treated. This university needs to be seriously streamline. Advisors are very rude. They do not want to assist their students; they want to take advantage and keep the money. From deans to professors, they are only looking to keep their jobs and gaslight the students. Parking: You can park at the Rice football stadium and catch a five minute FREE shuttle or park closer in any of the numerous parking garages in the Medical Center. Shuttles run about every five minutes and my experience saw two of us on the outbound shuttle with just three of us on the return trip. Wait: I stood outside, under a roofline to avoid the rain, in a line of about 10 people. It took 5-10 minutes to get to the front of the line. Process: When it's your turn, they wave you in and check you in. MAKE SURE to complete your forms before you arrive. It lets you "jump the line" by 2-4 people just by spending 5 minutes at home filling them out. Next, you show ID and insurance, answer 2 questions and you are ready for your shot. The shot is quick and simple then you go rest for 10-15 minutes. It's a self-monitored area so you can leave whenever you choose. Quick shuttle back to the stadium and you're done. About 45 total minutes of which half was riding a shuttle or waiting to enter the building. By the way, it's the Pfizer shot AND they automatically schedule you for the second dose right then. You just come back and do it all over again.
