The gentleman that checked in my car noticed I had a tire sensor light on, and asked if I was aware of it. I was. In fact, I'd had another company in town look at the sensors, but they couldn't figure out which ones were out, so they guessed and changed one. Discount Tire was able to tell which ones were out, and was able to replace them while I was there. The customer service was stellar and I haven't seen that pesky tire sensor light since!

I was told it wouldn't take long, so I expected a quick turnaround. After waiting 2 hours, I returned to find that my car was no longer at the location where I dropped it off. When I asked about it, an employee informed me that another technician had come from a different location and drove my car to their shop on Jacksboro Highway -- without my permission or any notification. When I arrived at the second location, my car was sitting out front on blocks with no tires, and it still wasn't finished. At that point, I was extremely frustrated for several reasons: My car was driven to another location without my consent. I was never notified that it had been moved. After 2 hours, the work still wasn't complete. The explanation given was that the original location was understaffed and busy, but that does not justify moving a customer's vehicle without permission or proper communication. This experience showed a lack of communication, professionalism, and respect for customers' property.

Took 2 hours to complete the 4 new tires while we listen to them complain about life, work and people that have too much money. We have a nice pick up but we work hard and it is part of us making a living. Southern Tire Mart has great prices and has been great at getting quality tires but I rather have local tire shop install instead of the slow grumpy crew at the shop.

Anyway , this establishment used to be a good tire shop , but now, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
