Surreptitiously tucked away off Mona Vale Road at Terry Hills is a genuine little piece of Thailand, with all the freshness and spice of authentic Thai food. The Thai at Terry Hills is a fusion of timber log cabin and flavours of Asia that will surprise on the upside of your expectations. All ingredients are selected for their freshness, seasonality and flavour then combined and cooked in a way that only true Thai's know.
Treats on the menu for a holiday luncheon included an entree of Salt and Pepper Prawns with a spiced chilli side sauce and salad, followed by Crispy Skin Pork Belly with fresh steamed greens and capped off with a classic Thai dessert of fresh mango and sticky rice. The menu also provides a good selection of wines, both by the glass and bottle.
Service at the 'Thai' is friendly and unassuming. The head chef and her daughter, who cooks as well as manages customer service, are both Thai, making the whole experience memorable and worth a repeat visit. read more
