I called Aaron Gellie who offered to deliver it after he closed the shop, however, trying to be fair I just told him to note that I am owed 1 juice for my son next time I visit. I walked in today, again with my 3 1/5YO son to enjoy a meal together as father and son, because my son loves the chips and I like the burgers. I mentioned I am owed a popper juice and so the friendly staff who served me got Aaron to sort this out. I mentioned about the owed popper juice and ordered a burger for myself, chips and a drink and another kids meal deal which is $8.90 and requested just to deduct they popper juice. Aaron said that he would take my order of around $25+ dollars and just give me another popper juice, I told him that my son won't drink two juices, so he said just take it home and put it in the fridge. I stalled for a second and told him my son has a 6 pack of these drinks at home already just deduct the juice of his meal. Aaron persisted he did not wish to do this and basically starred at me to accept just taking another drink home. Well hang on a minute? How GREEDY is this guy? Firstly, I already paid for the drink he owed me last time and now he wants me to buy my little son another kids meal and pay FULL PRICE for it and just give me the popper juice I already paid for? Is this guy serious? He wasn't doing me or my son any favors, seriously Aaron, if your store is that hard up that you can't even deduct $2 from the kids meal I ordered AGAIN, or better still, offer him a free replacement meal for forgetting to put his drink in our take away order in the first place then you should have just told me your store is struggling financially and I would have just forgotten about the drink you said you would replace, (AGAIN - Which I had already paid for anyway). I just raised my hands and said "Wow I'M out" and left with my son and went to Oporto instead. You should be ashamed of yourself Aaron, any other restaurant would have offered a replacement kids meal for FREE, but all I wanted was for you to drop the price of the drink I had already purchased and you couldn't even do that, instead you wanted me to buy another kids meal full price and take another drink that I already paid for. SHAME ON YOU, I won't be returning to your store ever again, which is sad because your staff are really nice and the food is very good, but as for you Aaron Gellie I guess you showed your true colours. At first glance it appears to be closed and when I visited around 6pm on a Wednesday night, it wasn't very busy. There is outdoor seating with large heaters as well as indoor seating and takeaway. Eating in is meant to be table service however when not greeted or approached by anyone we had to go to the counter for them to notice us and be seated. With only a few hosts in the front, besides the fact there were only a couple of other tables, it took a while for them to offer us drinks or take our order. In saying that, complimentary cold water was set on the table and the table was clean and beautifully arranged with a laminated menu, plates and gold cutlery. The women hosts wore traditional dresses and the male host wore formal attire and was friendly enough when he took our order. I ordered the satay stir fry with chicken and noodles while my friend ordered fried rice with pork. Past experience has led me to ask for less vegetables in my dish than usual so as to avoid the meat and noodles being overwhelmed by onion and zucchini. Besides a small protest from him ("but vegetables are good for you! ") he agreed to do so for me. Unfortunately, when the food finally arrived, I found the portion size small, particularly when it cost me $19.50! A small oval dish which was hot and tasty left me unsatisfied as I had half a plate of vegetables left when I had finished. It made me wonder what a "normal" serving of vegetables would be like and the small amount of chicken and noodles was disappointing. My friend received a plate loaded with fried rice however also was not a fan of the large serving of vegetables accompanying it. Overall, it was average. Tasty but expensive for the amount of food you actually get and waiting time was a bit long. Extra points for allowing split bills.
