Thai Brasil... lovely place in a lovely town! FOOD - I had a mint lemonade and green curry for about 15usd and both were awesome. I wanted more when the meal was done, even if I was full. SERVICE - Friendly, but you may have to raise your hand time to time to get their attention. AMBIANCE - Lovely whether by yourself or with a group. It doesn't hurt that the decor is cute. Prices are a bit high for Brasil but I say while in Paraty, why not #treatyoself? :)

2023-May; the food was as expected for Thai. Hot was indeed, hot. The presentation of the food was decorative. The Ambiance was relaxing and lit with both light and dark areas. A large garden/planter brought an outdoor feel into the restaurant. The location is in the interior of the building so you enter from a hallway. From the street view it's just a door! The service was fine and they spoke Portuguese and English words.
The good: interesting menu and decor. The bad: food, drinks, service, where to start... drinks were all around too strong and just not good, if we wanted shots we would have ordered shots. Service was horrible, they forgot multiple drink orders. There was about an hour wait between the tables first and final meals being brought out.... Would never go back. read more

The place was cool and had a good atmosphere. The staff was friendly and service was quick. I had green curry with chicken and rice; I asked for very spicy and received VERY spicy. The food was still great, just be aware of spice levels. read more

I was in Paraty for a film shoot-missing food with a kick. This place is Amazingly Thai authentic for Brazil. They grow their own Thai Basil! I highly recommend if you are missing spicy- just ask and they will burn your face in the most delicious way. The only thing missing was an IPA on the menu-but the food was so good I barely missed it. read more

As a lover of Good Thai I have to say I was thoroughly impressed..primarily with finding my 1st Thai restaurant in Brasil, in Paraty of all places, but also the fact it was incredibly good. Even more impressed that the chef is an Afro-Brazilian, married to a German woman who lived in Thailand. They split but obviously he took away a few things. I ordered the Papaya salad.. Incredible. Also ordered the red curry which was just as good. My partner ordered the prawns in an Oyster sauce. He said it was the best Thai he ever tasted. My only complaint us that they didn't have Thai ice Tea. Other than that.. Highly Recommended read more
In short, this is THE BEST thai food I have had outside of Thailand, period. The waiter, Charles, was soo friendly and helpful - fluent English speaker but he let me practice my Portuguese on him. You must eat here if you are in Paraty. The interior is so charming, with a gorgeous courtyard, candles, and let me say again, the food is outstanding. Flavors right out of Thailand with Brazilian flair. Cocktails, outstanding. The Jorge Amado was perfect, not too sweet. Excellent! read more

Arriving late and hungry into Paraty this place came up high in a search of vegetarian friendly places by vegan girl. It has a friendly vibe and a colourful interior. There is both in and out door seating. We ordered veggie spring rolls to get started and a caipirinhas. These were both very good. For mains vegan girl got the veggie Pad Thai and I got the Mussulman Curry. Both came with a good serve of rice. Both dishes were satisfactory. The Pad Thai had too much sauce while the curry had meat that was too firm. Dessert was mango sticky rice and this was good. Both of us enjoyed the sliced mango on a bed of sweet sticky rice. The service was friendly but slow, which give it was getting late was disappointing. So overall a reasonable but uninspiring choice. read more

Unfortunately I didn't not have a great experience there. I was there alone as a international tourist visiting in mid June 2017 - the restaurant was crowded and the live music was nice. The waitress was somewhat friendly with limited English communication skills. I have ordered a common main meal from the menu - not knowing that I am going to end up waiting for an hour for that meal to come out. It was masaman curry with beef that was completely chewy and didn't tasted good. Their explanation was very poor as why I had to wait for an hour to for the food to come (kitchen capacity problem) - this should have been communicated before hands to set the expectations. read more

This is absolute must visit at Paraty. Very friendly service and everything tastes great with local fish, fruits and fresh coco.

Surprising great Thai food in Brazil! The service was great, portion sizes a little smaller than usual, but the taste of everything was really great! Recommend it! read more

We heard highly about this restaurant and my kids love Thai food so we had to give this a try. It was little difficult to locate this place. Many friendly locals helped us but unfortunately we didn't understand Portugese and ended-up guessing what they said. Anyway, Paraty is a small town so we eventually found it. The walk and anticipation was worth it! This quaint restaurant seems to be run by few friends and there was a good vibe between the staffs working there. They had an English menu and our waitress spoke good english. I ordered a fruity drink that had exotic fruits and it was awesome! Apparently, the alcohol that went into it--forgot the name--was locally brewed there. The dishes, Red curry, Pad Thai and Squid Stir fry were fresh and tasted as good, if not better than what I've had in US. I would recommend this place. read more
