However, the second time I came with a bunch of colleagues, there was a blonde waitress (called Tracy apparently) who was horrible. She cursed us, was the rudest of rudest I had ever encountered so much so that I we had to directly call the manager. It was like watching a TV show at how rude a waitress could be, bad service on steroids. When I asked for the bill, she replied "are you done staring you spoilt brats" in the presence of the manager, which was a real shock to us as customers. My friend politely asked whether we were getting our starters together with the main course, she said that we are "at the back of the queue because we took blimmin' two hours to order". Also, she had these rants behind the counter about one of my friends who was late due to getting caught up at work, then threatened to take one of the tables away if she did not come in the next five minutes. Bad language, slamming dishes, snapping whenever we ordered anything, ranting behind the counter and countering everything with a rude sarcastic remark... it was like something you would only see on TV, so that fact that this was happening in real life just bewildered me and my friends. One of my Thai friends was a regular and knew the manager who was very nice. She apologised to us a lot and removed the service charge (as we were a group of twelve). It was a real pity as the food was so good but we were bombarded by TV Drama style rudeness of this Tracy that it made one of my friends upset and left me shocked to the point that I was lost for words.

It's small and friendly, I had the impression that many of the customers were regulars which I always think is a good sign. I had a goodly portion of the best thai fish cakes I've had for ages and did swapsies with my beloved and the boy. This meant I got some very nice chicken satay and a pork dumpling. I had a duck curry which was extremely good, with swapsies for roast duck and a chicken dish that I didn't catch the name of. Unfortunately I was too full for dessert so I watched my family enjoy their banana and pineapple fritters. Next time we're in Blackpool, we'll be back

After being served cold lemon water by a lovely waiter we chose between us chilli squid, chicken satay and crying tiger (spicy steak) for starters. The steak was a bit overcooked for my preference but it was beautifully cut and seasoned so it still enjoyable although the side salad consisted of iceburg lettuce with no dressing etc. my dad's chicken satay was a lovely portion and looked tasty and my sisters squid was a nice size too. The coating didn't stick very well to it but still very tasty . For mains my partner chose pineapple rice with prawns, myself yellow curry with crispy sea bass, my sister the chicken green Thai curry and my father the jungle curry . Despite the heavy-handed turmeric in the rice this was the closest thing we've had to pineapple rice since our Thailand trip . Was really fresh and tasty . My yellow curry was divine with perfectly cooked sea bass. Both my dad and sisters meal also looked fabulous! At the end they had remembered my dads birthday and brought out a candlelit dessert.
