However, it's good and different in a way that I liked and appreciated the diversity within our Vietnamese cultures and geographical representations. The dishes I tried offered a little twists in comparison to what I would normal have in the USA. I was very surprised to tasted a little ginger in the Beef Soup (Ph). It was different ! My mother would stake her opinions on this, but for me it was an interesting twist. I liked it !!! The owners and staff are super friendly and multi-lingual (Deutsch, Vietnamese, and English)...super cool to observe when they switched. I really enjoyed the food here for this time being. There were something they called "wontons", which is Chinese (normally filled with shrimp/chicken), but they make it as "fried wontons", which is American Chinese. These were filled with cheese, and I think it's the kind you get at American-Chinese fast food chains. So, not my cup of tea. Again, nice neighborhood pub with outdoor seating. They have local beer, so I'd come for that.

Germans take note: the ketchup is in much greater harmony combined with these elements rather than enveloping and overpowering your delicious tubed meats! We got here right at 5pm when they opened. Despite not having a reservation, we were seated immediately in the empty restaurant. We sat at one of the floor tables, must remove your shoes, but they have slippers you can borrow. I can't say enough about the food. Everything we ordered to include the appetizer and drinks (mai tai) was amazing! Highly recommend, we'll be back for sure!!
