We ordered through skip the dishes. We've ordered from them more times then I care to admit despite them ruining our order multiple times because I really love the way their food tastes and it's more nutritional them say McDonalds. My husband hates them however but has been tolerating them because of me. We've even started calling it "Disappointment Express" because our order is wrong so much or something is always missing. But this time will certainly be the last time.
They completely butchered our order to the point that my husband was furious and I was upset because I'm pretty sure they gave me someone else's food.
This was the first time we decided to complain. I call them up and start trying to tell the girl on the phone what's wrong. She sounds very nonchalant and casual. She does not apologize or sound concerned. If anything she sounded like she was annoyed that I'm even talking to her. She interrupted three times. And says "just tell me what's wrong with the order already." Even though that's exactly what I was doing. I just told her a short summary. She tells us to ask for a refund through skip the dishes. I asked instead of getting a refund could they just fix our order please. She says she I quote, "Hmmm... Let me think about it? No! Get a refund."
I tried to ask for a manager but my husband heard the conversation and was over it at that point. He takes the phone and tells her we're never ordering from them again and hangs up.
We call skip the dishes and they tell us refunds are at the discretion of the restaurant and starts nitpicking at our complaints and they only give us half of what we paid for back. This was a really disappointing experience not even because the food was wrong but because of the lack of care and interest. I have not experienced such poor customer service in a long time.
Thai express is clearly not interested in giving their customers a happy experience and no matter how good their food is (when it's delivered correctly) we won't be ordering from them ever again.
We sent off a formal complaint to their head office and to skip the dishes. Hopefully someone listens. read more
