However when the food arrives the Thai Garden really stands out. Well prepared dishes range across the whole gambit of chinese and South Asian dishes, using fresh ingredients and herbs. The waiting staff are friendly and approachable with a willingness to assist in dish selection and dietary considerations. The bill at the end may be on the top end but it is well worth it if you want a decent Asian meal. I strongly recommend you give this place a try.

The restaurant is located on Henley high street and is close by to pubs which is ideal for a pre dinner drink. The restaurant is small and cosy with several rooms and is authentically decorated. The menu is mouth watering and after deliberating for a while I opted for the duck spring rolls and soy sauce. A great start to the evening meal. Next up was Thai Prawn curry with Jasmine rice and I hardly muttered a word to my partner other than mouthing ummmm's and 'tasty'! All of the dishes were presented beautifully with flowers carved out of vegetables. The service was top notch, with the waiters and waitresses being attentive and friendly. I would most definitely recommend this restaurant to others, and look forward to dining there again in the near future.

The menu is huge and everything I have ever tried has been great. Favourites include fish cakes, sweetcorn cakes and chicken satay for starters (they also do a Thai platter for two or more to share, which would be a great introduction for people unfamilar to Thai cuisine). For the main course the green curry is to die for! Prices are quite reasonable (about £6/£7 for a main course). Set menus are also available. Staff are really friendly. The decor is fairly traditional and not really my cup of tea, although the chairs are very comfortable! If you fancy somewhere more modern the same people also run a Thai restaurant in Quorn in Leicestershire which is much more funky, modern and upmarket - although that's also reflected in the prices.
