A comfortable restaurant with friendly helpful staff, usually fully booked at weekends. The menu is a little bit different to most Thai places - I think this is because it's probably more authentic. If you've eaten in Thailand, you probably won't be disappointed here but might want to ask for things a little hotter. Reasonable prices and nice wines. We sat down and ordered food along with drinks which included a thai iced tea, Coke and beer. The coke was flat and tasted off. When I got the Thai iced tea it tasted good but after about a quarter of the way through I saw a dead fly on the inside of the glass. When I caught the waiters attention he didn't apologize but instead took it away and asked if we wanted another (which I didn't). After this I didn't really want to stay for food so we cancelled the order and settled our bill which they didn't waive. When I asked about the fly just for an apology the lady insulted my intelligence and said it was part of the tea! Not cool people, not cool!

You don't like it, you just have to walk next door to one of the other 57,000 pubs in the UK (seems a lot more than that, if you ask me). But this Thai restaurant just served me some of the best Pad Kee Maw that I've ever eaten. Mind you, I've eaten Thai food all over the U.S., UK, New Zealand, and Australia...short of actually eating in Thailand, it's fair to say, I know good from bad. There was a vegetable Tempura that was to die for, and my wife had the Pad See Ew, but was not overly impressed. Because the pub licensing rules apply, children must stay out of the bar, and must exit the pub premises at 19:00. This doesn't leave much of a window on week nights, as they begin serving dinner at 18:00. No high chairs, either, so they could really work on their family-friendliness. The wait staff was pleasant, and the good Kee Maw will have us back again. I'll update once we've had a few other visits.

The food was really delicious, and in particular there was an excellent varied selection of food for vegetarians (I'm a vegetarian). The waiter was friendly, polite and efficient, and kept on bowing! We went with vouchers from the Daily Telegraph, which meant that the meal was 2 for the price of one, so it was a great deal too. Definately recommended - I'm going to go back for the all you can eat buffet one Sunday
