I was a very short waiting list and started four weeks ago. Emma is a true professional and a true lover of animals. She made both my dog and myself feel at ease within minutes of arrival! My dog's whole persona has improved in such a very short time and we have our old dog back once again, it's great! All the vets that Dat and I saw were very pleasant and understanding and didn't even mind dealing with a sobbing mess and a very ill cat. The nurse when it came to take Dats home were lovely and made a real fuss of Dats and was a bit sad to see him go. You really couldn't ask for better a better Vets practice.

The White Horse Veterinary Clinic is conveniently in Calne town centre (next to Thomas' Garage) and is a lovely little clinic. Small but very friendly and they know their stuff. They are professional and quick to put you and your pet at ease. It is obvious the staff love animals (you are more than likely to see one of the clinics own cats wandering round when you visit) and you know if you have to leave your pet in their care they will be very well looked after.

Having dogs board at Teckels is really nothing to worry about - they will be taken very good care of. If your dog has special requirements - like needing to sleep on the left side of the kennel or whatever, Teckels will accommodate. The staff really are all pet lovers, and will treat your dog just like it's their own. Your dog will be exercised and loved and played with - whatever they desire! This is a bonus too, because any profit made from the boarding of your dogs goes directly to helping the rehoming side of Teckels. The only downside that I can think of is that the car park is only tiny and very pot-holey! But that doesn't affect the care and attention that pooches get at Teckels.

Caring for animals includes ensuring that items belonging to an animal are returned at time of collection. They appear to be a disorganised team. Logic would tell me that when an animal is booked in and they note the details down, they also make note of any items that arrive with the animal so that they can be returned. Not returning phone calls just adds to the frustration and is bad business. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

We recently had to bring one of the guinea pigs to have an operation on its bladder. The price was reasonable and took really good care of him over night. It was really worth doing the op as he is so much better now. You can usually get an appointment when you phone up and even open on a Saturday if you can't come in during the week. We have all our pets registered with them now and wouldn't consider taking them to any other vet. The staff all very friendly and helpful.
