Most people come here to visit the farm and walk around the large property, admiring the buildings and pretty landscape. There are animals to gawk at and there are treats to enjoy in the gift shop. April 11 2026 during baby animal days, a storm with marble sized hail started beating the hiccups out of us , now me being from SWLouisiana don't get to see much action, I was fascinated at first but quickly had the danger sting the fire out my back end. I grabbed my grandson close and we ran with my sweater over him like a mother hen. When out of an old West movie, a cowboy on his electric pony pull up to us, yelled at my grandson, GET IN. (You know that boy listen...wow). I turned to help my daughter and 2 other babies in a stroller. Once they babies were safe, this cowboy asked gentlemen like, for me to get in. I did. In the mass confusion and shelter seeking, he did not loose his composure. Calmly stopping to look at my daughter for her safety. Checking capacity of the tiny village homes along the way. He drove us to the SUV in the field, relying on a 6 year old boy for directions...this child has not moved. He was standing against this stranger, not out of fear but total trust ., He asked if we would be ok, I said Yes, while explaining to grandson that this nice man needed to save more ladies and kids, like he did for us . Once we were clear, and could see my daughter and the babies coming through the grass lot of cars, the cowboy was gone. We would like to say a great big THANK YOU first to this man's mom, you taught him well. To his father for giving him the protective nature and control for any situation. To you sir, no matter your choice in ponies ...RIDE ON. Hopefully my grandson will be so kind. Thank you all again for a wonderful day . Walked out of yet another production today (within the first 15 min) because of profanity,…read morelewdness, and inappropriate content for a general audience. Wasn't willing to wait and see if it would worsen to the level of another recent performance that was utterly shocking in its crudeness. While Hale Center Theater and Tuacahn continue to produce/present appropriate content for all ages in Utah, Eccles has lowered their bar over the years, seemingly under the guise of Art. What I find most frustrating is their unwillingness to warn the audience in advance or acknowledge the patrons who exit these productions (often in droves).

COVID cases are on the rise, and visiting this place was a vivid example as to why. We did not see the lack of precautions until after we bought our tickets, and there are no refunds, so we ended up upgrading to the "fast past," which lets you "skip the line", just to allow us some sense of security, and avoid the high risk situation. Because of the extra cost, it was an awful value- especially considering the quality of the attractions. My 9 year old jump ONCE! Not scary, not entertaining, and the lack of precautions was appalling! Never going back!

Although called a museum, that term is wishful thinking. There are just a few small galleries…read moredisplaying paintings and sculpture, plus a vitrine displaying a number of ceramic pieces. There is also sculpture on the campus grounds. Taking photos inside the museum is not permitted but that's not really a problem because there is no depth to this collection: it's easy to breeze through here in about 30 minutes. However, there is one whimsical piece that rises above it all: Klompen. It's a room of wood clogs suspend from strings. Put a coin into the box and it turns on electronic instrumentation that creates sounds in the clogs. It's like a very elaborate wind chime and it gives a sense of humor to an otherwise dull visit.
