They try to get 50% down and half do the job. On the November 6, 7 T&J was hired to install drywall for my home in Laporte, Indiana. The total cost was $3100.00. I gave them 50% down which is $1550.00. I received several quotes and they all measured and agreed at best 140-155 sheets of drywall was needed. The two guys that T&J hired to install the drywall, immediately walked and said I need more drywall. They was very strange with out measuring how drywall was needed. When they started to cut the drywall, they caused at least 40 of sheets of waste. Then the owner Tony said we needed more drywall. It's all sounded strange. I told Tony how I wanted the drywall to be installed including putting drywall up to the window because I was not putting Casing on the window, he said okay but they did not. They did not finish the job and they left walls with out drywall . I showed Val his accounting person and she agree she would be very upset if her home was left unfinished. And so if you call in those regards, initially, you have to separate yourself in a manner that tells them you're serious about having work done. 90% roofing businesses do not do warranty work even if they did the install. South Bend roofing does back up their work. I was sent out to clean gutters., a service they do not offer the public, on roof stayed installed 20 years prior that the owner still remembered off the top of his head after seven months when winter came at the end of the season, I was fired. I have all the reasons in the world badmouth these guys. But they wouldn't be legitimate. They do good work, and they're fair and honest in their business practices. The owner remembers every tear off and install for the last 35 years off the top of his head any given day of the week... it's rare. He'll remember your kids and ask about how they're doing.
