Okay, it is located in a rather touristy area, and it certainly does have some charm as well. I thought that the scnitzel was, well, really, really good, but it also went further than that to have some nice beer selections as well. Yeah, this is certainly one of those pubs that I have no problem whatsoever returning to.

So far so good, about 40 minutes later a table that ordered after us got their food...we waited...after about 10 mins more a bored waitress came in and the chap at that table said he had the wrong meal, a beef snit with garlic prawns...so I said i think that was supposed to be mine. She took his meal back and 5 mins later I received a piping hot (microwave?) beef snit. The guy at the other table looked and laughed that it looked familiar. My wife then received different meal than she ordered but by then we just wanted to eat n go. Between that, no aircon, 10000 flies not a hint of an apology the Brauhaus can suck it! What a dump.

We stumbled upon this place by accident, drove past it and thought it looked like they may sell decent coffee, so we made a U-turn and drove back. And what a creative name: One White Kite. They decorated their cafe window accordingly, a white kite in front of a white background. Pretty cool methinks. They sell very good coffee, sandwiches and some patisserie. Apart from that, there's also a little area dedicated to gift ideas such as books, mugs or keychains. The interior decor is lovely and so are staff that work here. If I'm ever back in remote Kapunda, I'll definitely get my coffee from here.

Three of us had lunch in One White Kite of Friday, what a treat…read more We each had the same meal, chicken pie and salad. The individual chicken pie was to die for. Quite large, made from wonderful pastry with a tasty filling of vegetables and large pieces of tender chicken. Accompanying the pie was a beautiful salad of mixed lettuce with a few surprises like halved tiny tomatoes, pieces of tender young cucumber and olives with a very tasty dressing. The waitress/cook was friendly and very capable and made the best coffee. Sadly none of us had room for a dessert from the selection.
