Such a darling place for kids. It's a perfect mother/daughter activity with my 8 year old. Staff was friendly, wasn't too busy. Love that they have summer camps, parties and take home kit options.

This place is great! There were so many different options of pottery to pick from. Price ranges vary depending on what pottery you pick out. The staff were welcoming and helpful. I always forget just how enjoyable sitting down and panting pottery truly is! This is great place to go with a group of friends or family, and even solo. I would definitely recommend checking this place out!

I was just wondering what the average price of going is?

Hi Lilly, We charge a studio fee for paint, glaze and firing which is $6 for children and $8 for adults. Add that to the cost of pottery starts at $13 for a basic mug and $14 for a basic bowl and 8" plate. We have around 200 different items. The…

I decided to do 2 pieces because you only get charged the fee once and all you had to pay for was the cost of the pieces plus the fee (once).

If you attend a community event, be sure to also check out the exhibits or follow The Lux online--they feature some truly powerful artwork that's absolutely worth seeing. I also love learning about their artists-in-residence and really appreciate their commitment to diversity and inclusion. A friend gifted my young son a pottery class, and he absolutely loved it. I'd love to attend more classes or the day camps, but they are a bit pricier than other options, so we haven't yet. The Lux truly has a heart for engaging children in the arts. If you're able, please support The Lux! It's such a wonderful, colorful, fun gem for everyone and offers classes in a variety of art mediums, including pottery, drawing, painting, printmaking, jewelry making and more.

It is the absolute worse economic time to have an art auction, but the best time to support LUX. This has been the largest fundraiser for LUX in the past. Please visit there website to bid on art. I will be in town the beginning of April 2022 to set up my solo exhibition, which will run for 2 months. See you then!

She is so kind and fun but also willing to be patient with us as we were making decisions on what we even wanted to make. We landed on a charcuterie board with a cheese knife. Totaling about $70 and it was looking so so so beautiful !! The hardest part is having to wait until the project is ready. This place is great for date nights or ladies night. They serve alcoholic beverages , sprite, coke, coffee and I'm sure I'm missing something else. The front of the store is a little boutique type set up with so many beautiful art pieces, clothes, accessories, candles, etc. and the back of the store is where the art is happening. They do resin, fluid art (paint pour), tumblers, patches on hats and tshirts, and everything was in a range of prices. Please consider this for your next date adventure or hangout with friends. We had a really good time.
